    hi nice clear vedio. . I'm a recent fashion graduate and my research for the final collection was this. (optical illusion in figure shape enhancing) I too used this concepts but in different subtle ways since I didn't want to use them directly without screaming optical illusion. optical illusion is a very interesting subject. love your explanation method. you made it so easy.

    Awesome job on making another informative yet still fun video! I never thought about the effect that lines can have on your body shape. At some point can you do a video about patterns? I've always really admired how brands like Dolce & Gobanna and African designers are always mixing really complex patterns and colors. I would love to be able to do this one day but i have no idea how they're able to do this without the outfit looking tacky.

    That was a fun (interesting) video to watch too ;) and I'm so glad you're going to do more about body shapes. I've some doubts if you could mention in the one related to rectangular type I would appreciate - can I wear loose trousers ( I've no bum or hips and I don't want to "drawn" in them ) what's the best dress shape and skinny are good to me?? wich rise waist?? coats oversized yay or nay??

    i must say though, in the thumbnail i thought u looked better with the horizontal line. I really like the style of wearing a black crop shirt with a black mini skirt and show a bit of skin in between (although indeed a very thin line.) Putting that aside, you really did a good job in summarizing how lines make you look slimmer/wider!

    • @thekingsdaughter4233
      @thekingsdaughter4233 4 роки тому

      Probably just at the hip bone, or make it a long one, below mid-thigh, if wide hips are a concern. Just don't let a seam "hit" wherever the body area is the widest. "Hard lines" (such as seams, or waistbands, or the ends of a scarf at the same level) draw attention and make us look bigger in that area.

  • @oldzensoul
