How would you style the first dress shown as wrong - the red and white striped dress? Maybe with a belt to define the waist?
You should try doing new looks with the same clothes or at least almost the same clothes rather than changing everything out. It would get the point stronger across. When everything changes it's difficult to pinpoint the exact effect of the single change.

I am a 58 UK Subscriber and never has the saying "you are never too old to learn" more true than with your videos. Ever since I have been watching you I always without fail learn something new from every video you put out. Thank you for your hard work and love the videos where you dress mum, I feel as if you are re-organising me. Keep them coming.
I like the fact that there is no talking. It lets everybody learn without needing to speak English.
I think your body language as you print out the principles are using to change the clothes or the way to use them is sometimes easier to understand than words. Great videos all around. So much invaluable information packed into a short time

A bit weird comparison for #6. If I am wearing shorts and tee, it means it's 30 Celsius outside, and wearing a jacket will get me thermal shock 🥵
I thought exactly the same thing. In southern Europe it's quite difficult to wear shorts and jackets in the summer... 🌞🌞🌞

I'm wondering how would you style the clothes you say are a no-no in videos like this one, like the flower print skirt etc. Is there a way to make them work in different ways?

I agree. I didn't see anything wrong with the skirt. That red dress...the shoes...lost me. So, I too would like to know. Many of us to can't go shopping so how to make something work...or just let go?

I loved all of the make- overs... those little changes make such a pretty impact.. My favorite was the dark blazer with shorts and white trainers.... oh and the orange/ white color block dress. And the black/ white skirt with a red purse!

My favorite tip is shifting the waist. I think empire waist is so much more flattering on pear shapes. This video gave me an idea: get a clothing clip to cinch baggy dresses and shirts into empire waist style! Thanks for the great tips today 💕
Hi Marge , I’m pear shaped and wear most of my dresses on the waist but also love empire line .Wearing a belt makes a difference . Pear shaped generally have a small waist so it’s great to show it off 😊💐💐

Crystal&Concrete, I would like to add that the rule of thirds is based on the golden ratio. See Wikipedia: „Some twentieth-century artists and architects, including Le Corbusier and Salvador Dalí, have proportioned their works to approximate the golden ratio-especially in the form of the golden rectangle, in which the ratio of the longer side to the shorter is the golden ratio-believing this proportion to be aesthetically pleasing.“ This is why this rule can be found in architecture, all kinds of visual arts, photography and fashion, too.
It is all about the proportions! The ancient Greeks claimed that a 1/3 to 2/3 ratio is the most aesthetically pleasing division of spaces. In fashion, this is often referred to as “the rule of thirds”.

Nah. I love print and volume. All you needed to fix that outfit was tuck in your white shirt and add a belt. Maybe also add a faux collar and faux cuffs that matches the colour scheme of your skirt.
Agree with all , although a great print can look nice . I think prints are more kind in hiding flaws particularly if a bit figure Hugging . 😊💐
