find a local radiator repair shop near you and have the turbo coupe thunderbird intercooler modified by cutting and welding the proper size inlet/outlet on it facing the direction to your throttle body and turbo then it would fit lower in the engine bay where you could install a hood down the road and still use the strut bar.
Auction T-bird core off or something, and measure open space behind bumper for possible dimensions. You'll have to take fascia off, and possibly move around S/C IC radiator to get max room.
I run a air to water intercooler post turbo! I also run a zzp full stack under the blower. Temps have always been great!
Yea I thought about that too! Maybe running it off my ZZP Heat Disperser. But I just feel like it would alot of unnecessary added weight

This might end up being the move
Get a 2.5" pipe kit for $120 and 3" intercooler for $130 and run a front mount
This may end up being the routes I go
This is exactly what I did (4" core barely fits, but I had to move trans cooler). Just converted my 11sec Regal back to A2A from trying A2W for a bit.
I wanna twin charge my regal one day
Do it! Start with a parts list and get ur gaskets changed first and for most
