I’m 57 now, and have my own style. Love your videos! When I was 20 I dated a guy for a year who was extremely critical of my perfume, my shoes, my makeup, and when he liked something he did tell me. But it left me feeling sooo insecure. Awful feeling. Luckily I have never let anyone take away my power and now wear what I feel sexy and good in and on!

Hi Lisa I was in my local shopping Mall today and I saw theses 2 ladies I am 70 they were a bit older than me and they looked stunning hair and Makeup perfect and dressed in black pants and jackets awesome shoes I had to stop them and say how good they looked, we dont need to stop trying just because we are getting on in years Xxx🥰
Lisa, I can't tell you how much I have LOVED watching your videos and styling advise since I found you about a month ago!! Thank you, Thank you!! Over the last 16 years I have let myself go and gained a lot of weight. I thought of clothes as simply a cover instead of expressing style. I gained more weight and hid from anything that I didn't have to attend. This past January, I started loosing weight (which I have done before but then give up). February - I found your videos. I have found excitement again in trying to be stylish even in the weight loss journey. I am carefully picking out my outfits (even though they are not yet the sizes that I want them to be!). I am choosing stylish sunglasses and bags. I am so excited! Feel so much better! And feel so much more motivated to get to my goal. Before, I didn't know how to be stylish without being the size that I wanted to be. Now, I realize I can put in the effort to be stylish in the midst of my journey and that makes me feel so much better and so much more motivated!!! Thank you!! Your tips are not expensive! I can understand that most women will believe in their own style /taste before IRIS APFEL; Lisa is right, the woman oozes style and taste, albeit over the top, that is truly unforgettable! I love her quirkiness, though I could NEVER wear it all at the same time. I do love turquiose and adore her multiple bracelets! I really enjoyed this video. I have learned a lot from you, but I also have a little quirkiness about me. I am getting my nails and toes done today and I am thinking about a hot pink. I am 62 and I don't think like a 62 year old person. I still think I am 40 and can wear and act like a 40 year old. So fun!!

I agree. It would be such a treat to meet her, too but Lisa loves her mama waaaay too much for that. There are many wonderful and supportive people on this channel but even here not everyone is nice. Not everyone is polite. Being on YT requires some thick skin. Lisa has talked about this topic and why she doesn't bring her mom on the channel. I love the caring and sensitive way she talks about her and I truly respect the fact that she tries to protect her mom. Doing so, is just one more amazing thing that sets her apart from other content creators.

My Davs are the Reef brand, my Biewer YOrkie puppy chews the Straps off 2 pair! Ugg...I only have a couple pairs left, so I have to order some. Oh Havananas the sizing I font know what size to get..I'm 8 &1/2 & sometimes a 9, but more on narrow size...I have to order 2 sizes.😂😂... I never wear Tennis shoes, I have 1 pair, I got to get more, going join a Gym. Tfs I enjoyed!!! Tfs

Definitely a good video. I have mentioned before that I would wear dark jeans to work but would throw on a nice blouse and a blazer, booties and had numerous people comment to me when the topic of workplace attire came up, that I never wore jeans. LOL Amazing when you add something like that they remember the other pieces. Same with shoes. I had to get rid of almost all of my shoes due to swelling on one leg and foot. Made me sick but I really would not have worn them anymore. Good thing because I was obsessed with shoes. Anyway, people always remembered my shoes. I usually bought something that was different from anyone else. One of my favorites was a pair of loafer type shoes with a big heel in blue suede. Fabulous. Nine West made them. Anyway, fun topic. Love this! I've loved glasses since I was a little girl ( I used to draw my dream outfits and they always had glasses) but I've never needed glasses (I'm getting there 😂), but now I wear blue light glasses every day - I spend my whole day in front of two huge monitors and they hurt my eyes. I love all of these tips - it's so funny, I saw the thumbnail and thought, "I wish I could wear a hat - my head is so big." 😂 I know they exist, but please share any big head hats you find because the proportions are so important, and I'm always nervous about buying them.

I'm 34 but I find your tips very helpful. I've been busy with children and feel that I've lost my sense of style.
The ones with the light pink frames look like my glasses that are Michael Kors. I have to wear trifocals and had gotten smaller rectangular gold frame but I don't like them because I need a bigger lens because there is not enough of the reading part on the lower part of the lens. I have transistional lens that turn dark in the sun. Love the inset picture of Chanel. I have a lot of nail polish and I buy Lights Lacquer which does not have a lot of bad stuff in it. I am changing my polish to '52 Chevy which is the color green of a 1952 Chevy. It would look great with that pistachio colored jacket you showed us in a previous video.
I couldn’t wait to read the comments section. I have to admit I’m disappointed so far. I thought for sure cattiness would come out as jealousy sunk in. As for my personal style what I like doesn’t display my assets. And how others perceive you can lead to social success: Three important categories I’ve found to making my best image are 1. Pick what flatters my body shape 2. Pick age appropriate 3. Pick power pieces like name brands, neutral colors If you satisfy these three areas your first impression to anyone on the street is of confidence and empowerment. And don’t we all want that as women!

Lisa, I have a question I am a project manager for a construction Company and I’m out in the mud and the dirt every day I’ve gotten into a habit of throwing on leggings boots some kind of T-shirt and a sweatshirt and I’m out the door.
