I bought Althea epson rapid receipt scanner btw! All my expenses on my receipt can’t be counted in my taxes, because we’re a construction company. What’s the method to scan and save and manage expenses on my receipt. I don’t have quickbooks. I’ve trying to figure out if I scan onto excel- if that’s best? Or should I just scan and save as an image file, but I start counting my expenses at tax season im afraid I wont be able to collect the right data/info from my scanned receipts to do my taxes

I have a small farm and all I want to do is be able to scan in all my receipts for the year then print out a year end hard copy of all scanned receipts with my expenses to give to my tax person. Will this work for me, don’t want to use quicken, quick books etc etc

Hi! How would it work if my client has 2 or 3 businesses and wants to use the Receipt Management function in QBO? Can she use one app for all three companies? And do you know if there's an additional charge for this service if she already has QBO accounts? Thanks!

Is it true that a great deal of what I will be doing is categorizing bank feed transactions, reconciling accounts, running reports, and talking to the clients about the implications of their reports? I should be able to create invoices to my client's customers and record bills to my client, but this is more A/R and A/P than level 1 basic bookkeeping, right?

Hey ! Im currently working on bookkeeping for a restaurant and the client wants to mainly track inventory. How do I account for items like sugar and stuff. They can to avoid having to manually count inventory everyday.
Hi! That's not my specialty ... I have textbook knowledge of inventory, but I try not to take on clients with inventory :) You should be able to find some other UA-camrs who talk about it!

My question is how would it work to have your client submit receipts through the QB app or via email, but they used their personal credit card and will need reimbursement? It won't match in the bank feed so would it be easier to make it into an expense once it comes in?
There are a couple ways you can do it, but this is often equity that is being put into the business and may need a journal entry. I probably wouldn't use the auto receipt tracking for this. Search for my video about recording start up costs, and I talk about it more there. :)
