Let’s be clear that Honda is NOT A STREET CAR. A street car has full interior, radio, all signals and lights working, speakers, factory glass, a/c (if equipped) all windows working with everything etc etc not gutted.

You don’t sleep on a supercharged v8 Hemi at the drag strip because getting out on you is their whole game. Ain’t his fault dude couldn’t spoil fast enough leaving late to fall on his face. A little thing called nitrous or simply go in first and double bulb if you need time to spool or put the correct turbo to make it happen in the time frame you need it. @@MoElfa-sr3sj I've got Hundreds of passes at the DragStrip. I'm familiar with qualifying rounds. They both were actually racing one another. If the Civic wasn't running the Hellcat & actually just getting Data/practice he would have just sat there until he built up enough boost pressure to leave hard. Maybe the Hellcat driver didnt courtesy stage so the lights came down before the civic could actually build boost. (What if he would have bogged??) After the race the Civic driver stated "I let you leave" in a manner of that he knew he was going to catch the hellcat. So that tells you it was an "Actual Race" in both of their minds. Qualifying rounds or not. I'm a Honda Head so it not about taking sides. This is what I observed. 🤔✂️🚦
