  • I will apologize now for me going off camera so much. I truly am working on this. I feel the more videos I do like this the easier it will get. I am also looking into a different tripod setup for my phone. If you would like me to, later on, I can do another video relating to this one. Let me know in the comments.

These are cute pouches, but unfortunately I was watching this on my computer and most of the video was covered by the comments section. I did appreciate you showing the close ups of your sewing. I'd probably try doing the whip stich on the back loops only, or would try a mattress stitch and would use the same color as the last round of the granny square. Sorry to hear about your heat wave in California! Hopefully it will cool off soon.

@@angelacarnes2894 thank you so much for the tips! I agree on the stitches and yarn after I went back and looked at it. I will most likely do another video on this next week.

@@TinyLittleBlessings I'm sure its hard to keep the work centered in the camera frame, but I definitely got the gist of what you were doing. I had made some fabric squares pouches recently in a similar fashion, and I had some random granny squares left from another project, so I used some scrap fabric to line the back side of the granny square (tiny edges turned under and stitched with sewing thread along the last row of the granny). Once folded and stitched, it made a nice lined pouch for small notions, or tea bags, or even small pieces of jewelry. Just another idea for these fun squares. Not sure how to add a picture to this comment, but I'm sure you can figure out what I'm describing.

@@angelacarnes2894 Ohhhh yes, I have seen lined granny squares before. They are really nice. That gives me a great idea since I have so much fabric! Thank you so much for all the little tips and such. Have a great night.
