@@DeputyFish I may be wrong but rolling is NOT faster than running. The reason you would want to roll is because you get i-frames during the animation and cant be killed, so when projectiles hit your character it wont one shot you since you have no shell. EDIT: IM WRONG

Glimpses can only be used when you're adorned with a Shell, as they're used to 'glimpse' into your shell and are purely a currency used for upgrading Shells, or buying items from Sester Genessa after you've acquired all upgrades for the Shell you are wearing.
I realize they were going for bleak environments but to me they're just boring. And the enemies just stand there waiting for you to attack. Nearly all bosses are just big guys with armor and a big weapon. I might give this game a chance some time though. Maybe it's one of those games that are much more fun when you play them yourself. Great run, Dist! Always a pleasure to watch.
If you're a fan of souls then definitely try it. The harden mechanic for blocking is really satisfying to get good with. In a sense it's diet dark souls. Fewer weapons, bosses, mechanics etc. but if you like dark souls, you'll like MS.

Looks promising in the first 10 seconds, until you realize the maps are on par with CS:GO aim Maps while enemies are put behind corners, waiting for you to get close. The rest feels bland and boring, the whole menu is an exact copy of souls games. Code Vein was the same too, looked promising but was ultimately a 1-way simulator with copy-pasted enemies put everywhere. As if a 14yr old had just found a Map editor.

For months this boss has bullied me seeing you take him down this fast aswell as parry him I have to get in the ring again. I didn't even know you could parry him. Ive come so close but on the second phase he will cheap shot me with his blizzard and instant kill me. So ill do the responsibile thing not throw and break my controller and walk away because hes had my blood boiling before 😂.

Ah, so you don't "save" at any sister location so you can zap back using tarnished mask and bypass the "you can't quick travel while holding a sacred gland" message. I guess the no-armor mode is quicker for dodging also. Those skips in Narthex were crazy. Like... how would anyone know that w/o someone playing it a loooong time? How did you skip the door being closed and having to trigger all 3 levers to open it? It looked open when you arrived. Anyway, interesting to see someone rolling across the landscape for 30 min. hehe

The inner Dark Souls player in me wanted to go into this game without a care in the world. That small part of me died 2 hours in. It was replaced by rage as I died, again, and again, and again. And then when I finally beat the game, I wondered, do I just suck? The answer? Even with hacks, this game is really unforgiving. And yet, it took you 28 minutes to beat it.
I thought I was hot shit and played as Tiel, got humbled pretty quickly after a few hours and switched to Eredrim. I plowed through the game once I made the switch, being able to tank a few surprsie hits really made the difference when going in blind. I had a lot of fun with the game, it's a love letter to Dark Souls 1.
I decided I was gonna play the game before watching Dist absolutely wreck it and I was really interested in how he was gonna handle that awful shit run through the dark temple after mini me. Then he just masks out and calls it a day. I'm only a little disappointed.
The PlayStation released an accolades trailer for this game. Everyone should note those publications and ignore them forever because they are retarded.
