Sparky, thank you for including when you would use the lick in the song. I’ve watched your previous, earlier lessons and wondered when you would use it. Thanks.
Htown in the house!! Yes, I have been making lesson videos but only posting them on my Patreon page for the last year or so. Will try to make more content for UA-cam as well.
Sparky... Sir....thanks for the the country lick...hope you continue with string bending sorta pedal steel sounding licks...maybe if you're willing incorporate open string(s) with bends ...glad you lifted up your right hand so watching one can see what both hands are doing..in the frame. Thanks for sharing very generous
Good stuff man I appreciate your time I run Twisted Tele Bridge and Broadcaster in the neck but I’m about to slap a mini humbucker or P-90 I was thinking of going gold foil and Tv Jones was an option thanks for the feedback !!
Douglas I totally understand your frustration. You have to turn it into a melody. Try humming something over a chord progression, and then try to match it on the guitar.

We’re both in Houston! It’s great to see you back by the way!

@@sparkysguitarlessons8589 cool
Great lick and very cool lesson, thanks!! Love how it has an almost cascading effect, sounds awesome!
Yes, I love the cascading sound that great country guitarists like Johnny Hiland and Redd Volkaert get with open strings.
@@sparkysguitarlessons8589 Yes, it does sound like Johnny Hiland!! Great lick and thanks again!!

lol oh shit, pretty sure I worked with this guy at a brewery years ago. Just now learning some country riffs, good stuff
Thank you. Sounds great
Thank you so much for watching
It's good to put your own charater into your playing.
Nice brotha love the channel
Pretty ingenious!
Thanks for watching!
Love the lick- but doesn’t it contain the constituent notes of an E7 chord? So the next chord should perhaps be A major. Thoughts?
It is meant to be played leading in to a D chord. It outlines a D basically.
Volume pedal works well
Cool, shame I don't have hands strong enough to pull that off on the 12s I play.
Nice lesson what kind of pickups are you running?
Thats a Twisted tele bridge and a Tv Jones power tron. I have since replaced the Tv jones with a mini humbucker which i like way more!

@@sparkysguitarlessons8589 I’m a Parker as well out of South Carolina 🎵
What’s that neck pickup?
On playing solos how do you break out of just following a scale, I just feel like I’m running in circles.
