I'm not a big country fan, but I love the sound of those bends. Songs back in the day from Poco and even the Beatles in "get back" used these bends. The toughest part for me was to keep the pinky from moving when bending the "g" string, but with a bit of practice I got it down pretty good.

@@swiftlessons hi Rob thanks I just find the whole theory side of it very confusing so many different bar chords shapes and the fact of d on 7 fret I only just got use to it being a b on 7 th fret I think not sure but some where in depth of the mind it's a b and d is 10 fret so that's why to me it all becomes so very confusing I know that there bassed on 6 and 5 strings and the d on 7 was related to the g string I think only watch video once just yet also major and minor scales have extensions something else I need to get my head around so much information it's so hard

I know there's a rule of thumb on 6 string that it's f f# g g# a a# and so on I am not sure if there is a rule of thumb using the same principle on the rest of the strings if so it would help to work out the relative notes and is there a video explaining different bar chord shape how and when to use them I only know e shape and a minor shape and I'm totally rubbish at them I can do them strum at a time hit and miss constant strumming forget it no chance at all but I still keep have a pop at them every now and again I also count beats as up down as I struggle with timing and off beat reggae style or funk what a laugh forget that one no chance these are all my down falls so far as I'm sure there will be more as no one is perfect
