I'm pretty sure Clanging Scales is a Dragon-type attack, because in both the U.S. and Japanese trailers, it hit Garchomp and Dragonite. and a super effective hit sound effect played. No way it's a Ice-type or a Fairy-type move.

The name "logically" fits Vespiqueen, but in terms of "usefulness", I kind of disagree with giving her that ability (since she is already a slow Pokémon). If they ever introduce a *Mega Vespiqueen* one time in the future, I want her to get a *brand new ability that gives PRIORITY to Bug type moves*. That would make her signature moves (Attack Order, Defense Order & Heal Order) SOOO GOOD/USEFUL and help her survive much more in battle IMO.

@Shofu, I noticed the difference between Dazzling and Queen's Majesty! The site describes Dazzling as preventing priority moves that usually go first, while Majesty just stops priority attacks period. This seems to imply that Q.Majesty can prevent NEGATIVE priority moves as well, most notably Trick Room.
EDIT: WAIT A SECOND! A second look at Q Majesty says that it simply blocks priority moves from being used. Not attacks, must moves period. King's Shield, Protect, Rage Powder, Follow Me, Extremespeed.... ALL of these moves are null and void if I'm reading this right O_O.

Hakamo-o literally does the Haka war dance before it fights. That is so sick to me.
Did anyone else notice that they said Kommo-o returned to its homelands to protect their Jango-mo from "the darkness" and they created Sivally to oppose a "great threat". WAS THAT THE GREAT POKEMON WAR? If that's the case then this game is set before the great Pokemon war.
Well that's just me being skeptical but either way I can't wait for the 7th gen Pokemon manga to see what they will do with this concept of "the darkness"

Shofu, Clanging Scales is obviously a dragon-type move. In the trailer, it was shown doing super-effective damage to a Garchomp.
Also, Alolan Grimer is Dark-type because it's a glutton. Gluttony is one of the seven deadly sins, and you have to keep in mind that the Japanese name for Dark-type is Evil-type.

Clanging Scales is super effective against Garchomp in the trailer, and since I doubt this move is Ice or Fairy, I think we can guess what type it is.
Sounds like this guy is going to have Superpower and Clanging Scales for it's signature abilities. If it's not fast I bet it's an offensive tank like Skarmory, Donphan, and Aggron.

Can we remember the fact that Kommo-o gets to pick his move nullifying ability. Soundproof makes him immune to Hyper Voice, Roar and Boomburst (and apparently Heal Bell... does it stop it from working?) while Bulletproof is immune Sludge Bomb, Shadow Ball, Gyro Ball, Focus Miss(lol), Energy Ball and Bullet Seed. Pair that with his amazing dual STAB and an exclusive move that sounds a lot like a Dragon typed Close Combat, not to mention as a fighting type he could have all kinds of moves ranging from Mach/Bullet/Drain/Thunder/Fire/Ice Punch if he somehow didn't have enough coverage already.
I think I have the perfect explanation for alolan grimer and muk's dark typing. Notice how the dex entry kept referring to their insatiable appetite; how muk will eat whatever's in reach without hesitation and grimer will begin eating whatever it can, if it runs out of trash to eat. They don't know when to stop, their gluttons (one of the seven deadly sins). They even have gluttony as a ability option. Maybe the dark typing is meant as a reference to that.

In the trailer Kommo-o used clanging scales on a garchomp and it was super effective, so it's probably a dragon type attack. Also the only other attack I know that lowers your defense is hyperspace fury, so this could be a base 100 dragon type attack.
Ends up having base 150 stats across the board.

It isn't *that* OP. The mythical legends aren't all OP, and they all have 600 stats across the board.
Mew, for example, has 100 in all of its stats, and can learn any attack in the game (except for Dragon Ascent and Draco Meteor), but it isn't too OP.

Shofu I don't know if you realized this but, because Jangmo-o's evolution line has soundproof. With that he's immune to the most common move used with Pixilate fairy types (hyper voice). Therefore they have to use an actual fairy type move. Hope you see this. Keep up the both awesome and entertaining videos!

Everyone prepare to shit yourselves... Soundproof of a pokemon quad weak to fairy. Pxiliate pokemon get bodied by this thing. Sylveon and Gardevoir and even special Mega Altaria will get slaughtered.
Arcflame Arcanum yeah but having to carry a weaker move just to deal with 1 mon isn't that enticing. Sure people would do it but it's sacrificing kill power on other mons just to deal with this one.

You could lose a game by running moonblast over hyper voice (with a pixelate boost of course) because moonblast just couldn't kill that last Mon. Sure moonblast is a great move I'm just saying that you're sacrificing kill power on every other Mon just to take out this one. I'll probably still run moonblast over hyper voice since Kommo-o looks really strong but it's just something to consider

Also Kommo-o willl be amazing, dragon dance, iron head, drain punch, dragon claw. You can't tell me that's not broken. Also he can be immune to hyper voices, and will probably be able to take brave birds because they hint at his high defenses.
dazzling prevents a move with increased speed priority from landing. so something like klefki using thunderwave would miss, queenly majesty prevents priority moves from being used. i read that as klefki could still use thunderwave since its technically not an increased priority move. or at least thats my take on it.
What if Type: Null/Sivally is a fusion of the starters plus Rockruff, I mean its kinda a stretch but it has a cat head with red ears which could represent Litten, green talons which could be from Rowlet, and a blue aquatic tail from Popplio. It could also have the hind legs of Rockruff. The only reason I think this is because Sivally has a relation to the Aether Foundation and I've seen speculation art of the starters being represented as symbols to create aether in alchemy.

sound proof might actually be decent for kommo o because it is immune to pixelate hypervoice from sylvion or gardivior. also possibly hidden ability multiscale to let it set up dragon dance or swords dance and then sweep
Based on the fact that Clanging Scales did super effective on a Garchomp, I'd hazard a guess that Clanging Scales is a Dragon type move. And it'll probably be on the same level of power as a move like Hammer Arm, which lower's the user's Speed. But yeah, I'm so getting a Kommo-o on my team as well ^^ And in regards to weaknesses, let's not forget it has two epic abilities in the form of Soundproof and Bulletproof. Bulletproof gives it immunity to several moves that are usually quite common, like Sludge Bomb, Energy Ball, Seed Bomb, Aura Sphere and Shadow Ball, while Soundproof can block all sound-based moves, which includes Pixilate Hyper Voice from Mega Gardevoir and Sylveon. Hope you see this, and I hope the info helps out ^^
