The reason why Decidueye is half Ghost is because it's based on the stilt owl, an extinct species of terrestrial owls.
Primarina's move is useful against pokemon with guts+flame orb, heals burn and deals damage.

My competitive predictions for the starters:
Decidueye- This thing is probably going to be a glass cannon. It's definitely going to have great speed and special attack/attack, but it's defenses and health will be frail, so make sure you set up with this thing carefully. It's signature move is boss and it can make Decidueye a great lead Pokemon if you have a team with good type coverage. Use it at the very beginning and lock in any Pokemon that switches in, then switch into something super effective against it. Bam, one Pokemon already down. I think it'll have a solid spot in the OU tier.
Moves (I think both its attack and special attack will be good)
Giga drain
Quiver dance (I hope it has this, cuz of the whole archer theme)
Spirit Shackle
Shadow ball/Leaf blade
HA: Sniper (them hax)
Held item: Scope Lens (even more hax if used with Sniper)
Incineroar- let's give it even more similarities to Pyroar shall we? I honestly think it won't be very good competitively. It'll have good attack and decent defense but that's all I think it has going for it. Darkest Lariat isn't really all that special either compared to the other two signature moves. I think it'll be sitting in between the RU and UU tiers. That's just my hunch tho, maybe it'll turn out to be amazing in competitive.
Moves:
Flare blitz
Foul play
Swords dance/bulk up
Sucker punch
HA: Defiant or Anger Point
Held Item: probably leftovers, but I think it'd be pretty funny if the destiny knot had a special effect on him, seeing as it's a ball of yarn. Maybe It'd make him faster since cats get really hyped up whenever they get playful.
Primarina- definitely going to have a place in competitive just because of its typing. Look at all those resistances! that's some Good shit right there. I see it as a bulky set up sweeper with great special defense and special attack with a decent speed stat. I can see it shining in rain teams with the HA of swift swim. Sparkling Aria is where I get iffy about it tho, seeing as how crucial burn is to crippling physical sweepers. If it's like smelling salts and wake-up slap where it does double damage to burnt Pokemon, then I'm more than happy with it. If not, then I'm probably only going to use the move in doubles. I say it has a strong place in the OU tier.

Incineroar will probably be in UU and Primarina is a clear candidate for OU, but I disagree with you on Decidueye. I think Decidueye is too vulnerable to sucker punch and gale wings Talonflame to have a comfortable spot in OU. Decidueye will probably be better in-game than in competitive battling.
Why would you set up with Primarina when you can Serene Grace Scald burn their entire team? If that thing gets wish or moonlight like most fairy types, it'll be one of the most annoying pokemon in the game to kill.

🌟 I like nice cream 🌟 in think Decidueye may end up in RU maybe UU bcuz of its ghost typing we don't have many fast offensive Ghost Pokémon and that Spirit Shackle move makes it a very decent trapper...Incineroar again RU maybe UU bcuz Offensively it's great typing but it doesn't real have great resistances and now it's neutral to Bug and Fairy which is really bad so maybe RU...Primarina I would have said OU if it we didn't get Tapu Fini now if it gets Serene Grace than yea it will definitely be OU but if it doesn't it's completely outclassed by Tapu Fini same typing,better ability,and we can assume that it's BST will be 600 or at least over 550

Muhammad Hasan I didn't say this just because shofu said something like that. Primarina has a pretty decent design for a Water-Fairy type. Although people like the other starters as well, some of them got dissapointed by the third evolutions of Rowlett and Litten, while some (read: a lot) started liking Popplio instead of hating it because, well, design and typing.

laserwolf65 do you have a point? He said a Pokemon with a lot of weaknesses can still be good then he said another Pokemon looked good because of how many things it resisted. Those are not the same thing.
QDJW Production This is true, but I get what he's saying; it doesn't sound right. But there is a big, enormous, colossal difference between a Pokémon like Decidueye and a Pokémon like Primarina. If I'm correct, Decidueye is going to be a fast attacker / sweeper, while Primarina is going to be a specially bulky / Milotic-esque kind of 'mon; resistances on an attacker don't matter as long as it can kill before getting hit. While on a more tanky Pokémon, like my idea of Primarina, resistances do matter, because you're likely moving last and thus having to take an attack. I hope that clears it up for the op.

TBF, Bullet Punch Technician Scizor had to get a nerfed sometime.
Zac Younes yeah it's good it will stop the no skill kids to on battle spot to bring in mega kanga and talon lame, also for people who play with smogon rules it will heavily affect scizor, talonflame.
Talonflame will probably still be useful since Psychic Terrain only affects grounded mons (unless Bruxish ends up threatening it)

Does nobody realize the ramifications of an attacking move that heals burns? Think about it. What do most Guts sets run? Flame Orb. Lead in with a Knock Off, use Sparkling Aria, and you'll disengage Guts.

When you go on Battle Spot, There should be a ranking / memory system.
It will remember up to 5 opponents' avatars, pokemon, items and z moves.
Who ever climbs the top of the ranking mode with certain conditions will be remembered in your data.
(i.e. Water-types only, must use a berry, must all have retaliate.)
Those who beat the save data for these trainers will have their team save data sent to all the ranking leader-board trainers as a elite four / champion.
You can also choose to have save data from a friend with what team they used to beat the league as the champion of your league.
Memory Data Example:
(i.e. Marko used Mega Audino to beat Xx_Slade_xX's ranked team.
Marko's Audino had Dazziling Gleam, Hyper Beam, Calm Mind and Helping Hand.
Marko's Audino held Audinite.
Marko's Audino battled in a Double Battle format.
Marko's Audino's stats were mostly in Sp.Atk and Defence, Give boost to Sp.Atk / Def by 1 on first turn out.
Marko's Audino has Normal / Fairy typing, give trainer the corresponding stone, Audisite Z.
Marko's Audino used Retaliate, Calm Mind and Dazziling Gleam on the first 3 turns.)
