- I thought it was about time to learn some FINNISH! So I asked Cat to teach me a few Finnish words (including some naughty ones!) and phrases!

+Dave Cad Don't feel embarrassed about saying "fumbs"instead of "thumbs". That's a characteristic feature of the Cockney accent, so if you are from London, it's totally legitimate to use it, it's not an error. ;D
You can search like "longest words in finnish" or something 😄
+Dave Cad Try to say: Epäjärjestelmällistyttömättömyydelläänsäkäänköhän, its very long word and may be the longest Finnish word :D Also i like to hear, how you can say colors like "Sininen"=Blue, "Vihreä"=Green and "Punainen"=Red. And "Kissa"=Cat can maybe be fun to hear, because it has 2 S letters.

Love your Vids. I have several friends in Finland and have visited 3 times. I love it there. There is nothing like being there to learn Finnish. I have a very good book by Terttu Leney, and I can certainly recommend it.

In US English, if you say "Candyman" 5 times while looking in a mirror the Candyman will appear. In Finnish, if you say "Kokoo koko kokko kokoon" 3 times while looking into a camera a dog will piss on your carpet.

+Sonja Maria I think it has a lot to do with the fact that he has been in Finland so many times - so he kind of already knows how Finnish sounds like.. Kind of like if you would listen for a month lot of lets say Italian music and Italian speaking and then after that month you start to study Italy - it's a bit easier because you kind of know what it's supposed to sound like.. Sorry, I got a bit crazy with explaining something you probably already knew :D..

Cat laughed when she read that and was like "so true"!
First thing that came to my mind when I heard "kuusi palaa" was "the spruce is on fire" because it was said completely out of any kind of context. After that I probably thought about "6 pieces" but even though the rest of them are technically correct, there are a few which don't really make much sense ("your moon is on fire") if they are spoken completely out of context. Usually people might use only a few different meanings of "kuusi palaa" and it is often quite easy to understand what they are talking about.
