I love the single on your drop spindle! It's so consistent! I'm also on the drop spindle part of the skill tree this year. I've been able to chain ply a bit of yarn that became a potholder/trivet for my cast iron, and have Andean plied the rest of that braid and am making it into a crochet beanie in bright greenscreen green. Can't wait to see what you get up to with more of your you-made yarn!

You are also a fellow plant mom! That's awesome! Have been starting plants for my Mom's garden, primarily from seed, so she doesn't keep spending hundreds on plants that just don't take to her microclimate.

Hi Candi! I'm also working on a Vertices Unite and I can relate to the questions about color combinations. That's why this is my third VU, I keep on knitting different combinations and thinking of myself as an artist :)

I just dont enjoy making large amounts of yarn on the drop spindle. 100 days of drop spindle sounds like torture. Plying off the drop spindle(s) also sucks!!!!

Not torture! lol >< I made it to about day 60 something before I had to quit. Once or twice a week is more my speed.
