it"s fun to see the dolls progress, thank you, also enjoy watching the blanket grow!
Thanks! I'm having a blast with the blanket.
I think it's helpful to be prepared (mentally) for something to go wrong. If it does, you are ready to trouble shoot and resolve the issue. If it doesn't, that's a win. Not being prepared that way (for me) would result in some disappointment and potential loss of interest in the project. I'm not HOPING for mistakes or problems by any means, but I'm glad to be realistic about the possibility that they will happen...just so I can face them with equanimity.
Enjoy the Tour!
I can't believe today is the start of the second half of 2024. I'm knitting a lot of socks during the summer for summer sock camp and because we live in the Mojave Desert and it is hot here so no sweater knitting. Saturdays high willbe 115°. 🔥🔥🔥
Yikes! I thought it was hot here in VA, hope you find a way to stay cool and hydrated.
So hard to believe the year is half over! It's going by so fast. I do the Bling Your String/She Must Knit (podcast) Bingo challenge to set my goals for the year and I don't know if I'll be able to complete my card with so little time left in the year. I guess I'd better get a wiggle on 😃. I love the dolls you're making. You're a good mom. I knit one toy for one of my kids 40 years ago and hated every minute of it.......never again, lol. Looking forward to seeing your latest doll finished.
I'll have to look up that podcast/challenge, sounds up my alley.
Thanks so much for the kind words on my parenting and the encouragement; I'm sure your kiddo looks back on that toy fondly. Seeing their faces light up is so worth it.
