⭐Quick history of the RendeZook: ZookaMan was one of the first gamers to try a move called the LoopZook around 2005 (approx) in Battlefield 1942. The move involved looping the aircraft and ejecting to 'Zook' (short for destroying with Bazooka) & destroy the enemy aircraft and returning back to your own aircraft. Later, gamer Stun_gravy was inspired by the LoopZook and performed a slight variation of it in 2011 with Battlefield 3. Stun_gravy's version did not have a loop and so he named his version .... RendeZook. He created the name by using 'Rende' -- part of the word 'Rendezvous' (which means to meet up at a certain time/place) and combined it with Zook. Gamer Ponylion would further popularize the RendeZook in Battlefield 4. The Russian gamer Schemov (last guy reacting in my RendeZook video) popularized the RendeZook in Russia. He told me that he was challenged to try it and he watched Ponylion to learn the RendeZook technique. He would later discover about ZookaMan and Stun_gravy's past RendeZook achievements.
I hope that clears up any confusion about the history of the Rendezook --- an important part of the Battlefield community.
Theres a video going around saying that the last guy IS stun_gravy..i thought that was him this whole time but I guess its not
@@mo2fifty937 Stun_gravy and the Russian gamer Schemov (last guy reacting in my video) are not the same. Here Is Stun_gravy's Twitch channel which clearly shows that he is from the U.S. => www.twitch.tv/stun_gravy/about
Damn! That's history right there men.
Even it is late, thank you for providing us context/history about the "zook" strat, respect!
Gracias por el contexto por qué estaba perdididititico 😂👍
There are three types of games watching this part of the trailer:
1- Impossible, bullshit
2- Good maneuver
3- RENDEZOOK !!!!!
I'm a solid 3! Majestic!
Solid 3 all day
Me who doesn't play BF after see it : omg , i fucking have a reason to buy this now.
2
I'm a 1 to 3
I didn't know about the Rendezook when I first saw it. So I just went 'Oh no. They gone full Fast & Furious with this one 🤢'
When I saw the original move. And now I'm all 'Frick yeah! 🙌😁'
All the OG's knew the minute that vertical climb started we were going rendezook
I hadnt watched the trailer, then someone commented on my 5 year old rendezook tutorial from bf4 saying "well this is a lot more relevant now" went and watched the trailer and knew immediately, what a fucking epic moment, any bf3 and 4 players will be so hyped
@@NineLives9 I like the chill background music in your clip while you are just cruising and admiring the views .... briefly "interrupted" by the rendezook kill ! 😄
@@strebo8419 haha thanks man, the clip is actually my brother and it's from an old tutorial so it just had some chill music playing while he explained how to super eject, then that clip as a little example at the end
@@NineLives9 Either way .. nice ! 👍
I guess i'm slow cause i only realized once i saw the rocket launcher
This how you know battlefield cares about their community
👍
bfv ehem
There was BFV
BFV
BFV made them realise the importamce of their community.
Dice legit made a man cry over the rendezook
He’s the one who pioneered the rendezook
The Russian dude pioneered it? I thought it was stun gravy…. Or are they the same people??
@@VaderM1 Nah it's just some russian guy very emotionally tied to bf community it seems :D Nothing wrong with that. It's not stun gravy nor zookaman.
@@VaderM1 Schemov (russian guy), was the one, who raised popularity of the rendezook in Russia. He spent many videos, trying to replicate the rendezook, but in different ways, basically making it his life
@@olegkupran5284 Thanks for providing that history about him. His passionate reaction in the video absolutely validates that history. GG
The rendezook will always be etched into gaming history
Hell im happy for that last clip of this video for that man who made history of Battlefield rendezook
@@Gearbox20k920 the og guy was zookaman back on bf1942. That’s just some random streamer freaking out
@@laynlayned ok
@@laynlayned Is there proof?
@@velvetrosang4684 proof of what? That they are different people or that Zookaman did it first? Zookaman hasn’t uploaded in like 6 years and on top of that they have different names. And he’s also not stun gravy from the bf3 clip cause gravy is American.
Casuals: “that’s ridiculous”
OG Battlefield players: “CLASSIC BATTLEFIELD!”
Imagine, just imagine the reactions we could have gotten if the trailer would have been shown during an E3 conference
Fcking pandemic!.
Oh now that just made me sad, holy shit it would have been epic!
that might've just topped the keanu reeves premiere honestly, or they would've been even lmao
If they had done that during E3 ., the sound of the crowd reaction would have blown the walls out of the exhibit space where the presentation was held
You can tell from their reactions who are the real battlefield gamers…..
Cant?
As soon as the rocket is shown
@@dominicviner6619 nah, faster,
people who plays BF = As soon as the vertical climb happens
people who atleast knows the meme = as soon as the RPG is shown
people who have no clue, and just thought is was cool.
@@pixelbogpixxelbog2090 thanks. Was a misspelling jajaja
@@Kaimax61 other people “that was ridiculous”, and you my friend have been loosing too much time With COD
I will be pissed if someone doesn’t do a rendezook manœuvre on me in the final game. I’d probably *_beg_* them to do it on me for old times sake. That’s an amazing community nod DICE did and man the fucking *_GOOSEBUMPS._*
😄 I hope your wish comes true dude. Make sure you record it for the community 😊
The best for the last, the man ,the legend.
Edit: Thanks for the likes folks !
actually, he is the person who first make randezook.
@@fatihkaraarslan4995 no way?!
@@gurutrips9440 actually he first one do it loobzook in battlefield 1942 at 2006. u can search on youtube

@@gurutrips9440 Yes way... Hahahhaha
Rendezook is a proud daddy.
I feel so bad for the dude who got killed in the most legendary kill shot in BF HISTORY!!!
It was at this moment of the trailer, all the people who tried the rendezook had a flashback of the good old times.
You can tell who is a veteran BF player, the ones who know the name of the trickshot, rendezook
The Russian dude at the end. I felt his excitement each and every time I've watched this trailer
Yes, cuz he is the one who created this move
Had no idea thanks for the insight
Stun Gravy the legend
@@LEV1ATAN wait, deadass?
@@LEV1ATAN no, he isn't
You can definitely tell who are the OG battlefield players. As soon as i saw that climb and look back i knew it was coming.
imagine the ppl saying it's all impossible/cap/ridiculous/bs then they find out about the rendezook... the HUMILIATION
I'm watching more reactions and only "Rende Zook" make more emotional on trailer Battlefield 2042 . BF fans are grateful for the memory which is always nice to watch and admire. Thanks 👍
Guys, the Last person is the video is zookaman, the person who initially coined the loopdezook in 2006 playing BF1942
Loopzook is not the same as rendezook
@@diablotry5154 he knows.
@@Theonevidz so his comment is pointless. Cool
@@diablotry5154 the fun in person over here
@@diablotry5154 it's basically the same thing lol, just with different names
Fact. The guy at the end of this video is actually the first player to ever do this in game hence his reaction.
Is jt really him
@@spggaming8792 yes.
100%
@HungLikeALemur it is him
@HungLikeALemur bruh he is Russian ffs 🤦♂️
I love that there are people that know what's happening right away, and people that say they've never seen it before. God bless the rendezook
That WARning guy was the best. Dude started screaming so high his mic couldn't pick it up. And then basically started crying. Beautiful
Bcos he was the first one to do the move
@@dylanJJRL14 Neato
Love how all the battlefield vets knew exactly what was gonna happen and everyone else was like what’s he doin
I used to do Rendezook s all the time. Except instead of enemy jets, it was the ground. And instead of rockets, it was my body. Everyhting else was the same though. XD
😄
Fret not, @Harmful Design,
*YOU ARE THE AMMO.*
There are two types of people:
People who laugh because they know nothing about battlefield
And people who laugh because they play battlefield
13:36 easily the best reaction LMAO
bc he invented it. he is the godfahter of the rendezook
He was the first to ever do that
His name is WARning! Schemov. While he didn’t invent the Rendezook, which was invented by Stun_Gravy, or the original Loopzook, which it was based on, invented by Zookaman, he still popularized it in the Russian battlefield community. So, still good reaction. Also, the mic keeps cutting out but he’s screaming “thank you”, very epic.
@@samcro9905 no he wasn't
@@InFamXYT yes he was
The best reactions are from the BF OG's who actually recognize that it's a rendezook and a reference to something popular in the community
For all newbies. This is a classic play from battlefield 3. Thanks Renzo!!!
Battlefield 1942 Loopzook from 2006.
@@EnriqueBalmory but it wasnt a loopzook so...? it was a rendezook
@@zabronzkee731 Loopzook inspired the rendezook. I think that's what he's getting at.
1942
@@EnriqueBalmory but his is a rendezook, there a many ways to make this move, yes it started back in 1942 but this trailer shows the rendezook.
We all know there gona have a achievement called rendezook where you have to do this
God i hope
It will be a hidden achievement.
Probably will get it if they do it 5 times or something
Who knows if it would tie to Phantom Program... The secrecy of it just drives the community.
Thats the company showing love to a player that did this in game and went famous for this crazy stunt. That players reaction is pretty intense
the reaction of the man himself is so wholesome, the amount of serotonin I felt watching him realise it was inspired by him in battlefield three is brilliant ❤️
From here on out, FPS game will need to check one more criteria:
- Can you Rendezook in this game?
Another one: can we rocket jump in this game?
@@pyromare4879 ahhh i see another tf2 man of culture
Stonemountains reaction makes me smile every time lol
Same, its just pure joy and i love it
His reaction reminds me of his old videos, blasting Alpha-like comms on BF3. Man...
That's how you know you're a legend when your trick shot gets featured in a trailer
When I saw that vertical in the trailer first time, I instantly think to "oh yeah, the predator is gonna become the prey", and when he eject the F-35 I shouted with the same intensity of the "Alpha-Mike-FOXTROOOOT" in A Team, "REN-DE-ZOOOOOOOK"
Sadly half of these player never knew about this, and killed the energy in the reaction. Hope they won't complaining about what we're gonna do as veterans to them, if they tail us
LMFAOOO THE CALLOUT HAD ME DYING 😂😂😂🗣
Yo, from 2025 here.
Theres 2 groups of people in this vid. those who knew Rendezook, and those who don't
I love how the first guy cracks the davinci code figuring it all out. 😂
Isn't it crazy how people who KNOW battlefield know this move and all the people who are new to the game get the same reaction...lol. #ifyouknowyouknow
I mean, it is a super awesome maneuver regardless of if you know the history behind it or not. It just holds an even more special feeling for those who know this was an actual play (and probably the most memorable) in Battlefield's history.
Literally anybody flying a jet in BF2042: *goes vertical*
Enemy that’s been chasing them: “I am not following that guy, nope.”
😄
Marketing dude deserve a raise…..outstanding move to add this legendary stuff to trailer
*"Yeah I'm a battlefield player, how'd you know?"*
It seems very few people actually do their research when they are reacting to a something new like this in case. Only the OG's knew that was rendezook famous clip...
To be fair if they did research it wouldn't be an authentic reaction.
@@tydebehrend7118 yea you are correct but still they should have looked for the clips and previous gameplay, because if they are reacting to a sequel of some series they should know what the series meant to the community..
@@tamalroy5923 Dafuq are you saying? Is there a right of passage before reacting to videos now?
@@jessep8281 I am just stating that if you are reacting to something which is in a series you should have a look to the clips of the previous game, otherwise you wouldn't understand few things and that can lead to dumb reactions, in thsi case the rendezook shot which many of the newcomer streamers found dumb and started questioning in related to physics...
@@tydebehrend7118 Thank you! 🙃
BTW this was the best made multi streamer compilation I've seen yet! Good work. I like they were all separate instead of those videos where they have 16 streamers at the same time.
Thank You 👍
Watching this puts me in such a good mood. Thanks for curating these reactions.
You are welcome dude.
The best way to end this video with the guy who did the first ever rendezook
He got so happy seeing his move ended up in a trailer I almost cried
He didn't do it first. Zookaman did it first in BF1942 and the Stun_Gravy in BF3.
I don’t care how many times I watch the OG’s reaction, it gets me every time.
13:33 is Zookaman, he created the loopzook from BF1942 in 2006 when you had to do a loop in your plane to be able to land back in. He was happy to see the move he created and re-popularized by Stun_gravy in the video. This is why his reaction is strongest... He begged for his modern era move "They're going into the stratosphere? ...Cmon Rendezook... cmon Rendezook" and then got his wish. "Thank you DICE!" He exclaimed.
I never knew Rendezook, this trailer and the reactions made me research it and after seeing stun_gravy react to it and see how other people react to it, I just feel goosebumps and I smile soo much because I am glad that the devolopers did this for him and i think that's soo nice and I just feel proud for stun_gravy and i just can't stop watching more reactions to the legendary rendezook.
Watching Schemovs reaction all the time is so priceless!!
Props to the person who etched this video together and honored the man who brought us a slice of greatness.
If I’m not wrong the last guy is the one who invented that randezook shot.
He is actually , stun gravy the legend
@@maindestroier4683 nope that's not stun gravy. Stun gravy made it popular in Battlefield 3
no, he is the one who played with stun gravy to perfect the rendezook
idk what's real though
Awesome! Thanks for incluiding me @Strebo !! I have only ever played BF 1 and BF 5 before, so got plenty of history lessons on the franchise and the Rendezook after reacting to this. People can be so sweet! 😓
You are welcome Mandy. Please try BF3 sometime. There are some servers which are still active and with the hype behind BF2042 now, the BF3 server activity have picked up. BF3 will forever be close to my heart !
this together with the daigo parry are the most iconic gaming moments
All the new gamers and reactors never knew that move tho Only OG KNOWS
He became immortalized
This is practically telling all gamers they can perform Rendezook in this game.
The russian guy scream so hard that it brokes the sound barrier
He was the first one who invented and did that move
@@justanotheridiot8204 ok then so what
I'm surprised how many people were reacting to the rendezook for the first time. Absolutely iconic clip
Last FPS I played was call of duty and BF 2 in 2007-8
But this, this is legendary.
Zookaman, Stun_gravy, Schemov amazing skills.
BF Team hats off for showing respect to gamers.
Give respect to gain respect.
I’ve watched Rendezook legit probably 500+ times and i still get goosebumps watching it!!!!!!!!!!!
The fact that stun_gravy(the creator of the rendezook) reacted to this too bro made me so happy he made that trickshot
Seeing this trailer actually brought out a tear bf3 was my first fps i got into and seeing them recreate this spectacular moment was just great the amount of time i tried to do this trickshot myself after seeing the original cant even count.
Battlefield is one of the most astonishing games ever, it’s playerbase is absolutely amazing, pulling absolutely crazy funny and unrealistic movements just to make the game even more fun, the insane rendezook and unparalleled helicopter flight, battlefield will hold an anvil over my heart for decades
even the pc reacted at 4:19
PEAK CINEMATOGRAPHY GAMEPLY
Difference between streamers and gamers? Gamers know stun_gravy and rendezook, streamers pretend they know Battlefield
Imagine how proud you can be when a game you love picks the best moove ever seen to put it in its upcoming game trailer
I cried when the memories came flooding back...
Literally, only OGz will feel deeply for this move 🖤🔥
Imagine being the one who pulled this off and battlefield saw and brought your moves into a freaking trailer
Man the last react was epic
That was the guy that actually pulled it off the first time. Crazy to watch a man see his creation immortalized in the trailer itself.
@@ChrisOverholster Schemov didn't pull it of the first time. He just make this trick popular in Russia
@@MouFrog according to the comments, he is rendezook
@@LEV1ATAN I'm Russian and I can clearly say that he isn't.
@@LEV1ATAN He is. He is Stun Gravy, he created the Rendezook... He named it Rendezook to give a nod to another player Zook who did the move before him but in a slightly different manner.
I just want to really thank you all for the support given to this video and channel. I really do appreciate it ! GG's everyone 🙂👍
The way you made his reaction to it be the last clip made it perfect
@@jonathondicicco5083 Thank You.
4:21 Even Windows has to respect the Rendezook
Could you even imagine a move you did in a game render in a future trailer game ?
My god that feeling must be incredible amazing.
Congrants Battlefield comunity this is AMAZING !! 🎉
would have been even better if the camera panned to the pilot giving the double middle fingers to the dead pilot while letting out a long exhale.
13:37 this was the guy who performed the rendezook in the trailer, his fans challenged him to do it when live-streaming and he hit it. 🤝
I do love how dice did this and gave a big old nod to gravy the creator of this epic trick shot... hopefully the start of dice giving back to the battlefield communityand its supporter's and everyone that's ever supported them.... i'm watching you dice cause to be honest you let us all down with the last game so it better not be another repeat of promises you don't stick to
I’m so fuckin glad the creator saw it and it makes me feel a strong feeling of happiness with how he reacted
Stun Gravy’s reaction to watching this trailer was priceless he is forever immortal
So many people here never saw the og and how iconic it is
Seeing the reactions of the OG being excited to see the rendezook vs newer guys reactions is great!! Shemovs reaction was the best. Never seen a grown man cry from a video game trailer.
What an honor to get your trick shot featured on a trailer lol
I like and subscribe because you are the only one who put the reaction of the original player who make this move first
Please read my pinned message above concerning the history of the Rendezook. Cheers.
You have to give the creator of the Rednezook props. He went really *outside* outside the box in the dogfight in the original clip.
I added a quick summary of the history of the Rendezook in my pinned message above (click the 'Read More' text) .... for anyone interested.
He's landed back innit! He's landed back Innit! haha
Thanks for putting this reaction video together. I cannot wait for this game!
You're welcome.
Rockstar should take notes
All these people saying it's impossible don't know that this is a homage and not a marketing trick
Yeah, they're also usually the people in this video who think this trailer represents gameplay precisely.
The reaction of the last gamer in this video pretty much said it all. when they can render you absolutely speechless or close to it., that is when you know the game developers got it right
You know that last gamer is the one who created that manuever. Its called the Rendezook.
@@lauprayer3808 yeah I know, and that's why I got such a kick out of watching his reaction to it his full reaction to it is a thing of beauty to watch. I watched one of the reactions it was a group of Call of Duty players it was wild period, this in my opinion could end up being the knockout punch delivered to the Call of Duty franchise, if they don't come up with something original
RENDEZOOK , RENDEZOOK, RENDEZOOK. THAT'S BATTLEFIELD
Those last two reactions you know they play, most epic thing in a trailer I've seen, can't wait to smash 2042, chef conehead
8:35 I need a White Ranger helmet like that. So cool!
The last guy was the creator of the rendezook itself.. so proud of that .. only OG LEGENDS WILL know!

Such a tip of the hat to the community
4:22 the windows sound got me😂
when i was watching it and the plane started climbing my mind went, "he's gonna do the rocket thing."
and when it actually happened i was like, "okay, i better see a ton of fucking reaction videos or the internet is not worth keeping around."
