Couple notes from someone that uses Bondo regularly ouside of skating. 1. if youre using the bendable plastic spreaders you can 100% let bondo dry on them, its actually the easiest way to clean them. Let it dry, then bend the spreader back and forth. the bondo will pop off super clean 2. Sanding can be done with just paper, but to get the bondo to sand faster and more evenly use a sanding block so you can apply even and forceful pressure. fingers will infact, leave grooves. 3. Pros in a vest will have a clipboard with a notepad or legal pad on it to mix bondo on. this gives the worker an easy to clean "palet" to work from. when done just tear of the sheet and its clean. Plus it matches that nifty vest.
the cracks they filled at 3:30 are there so the entire slab doesnt break when it gets too hot and the slab expands. unless bondo is somehow flexible and "breathes" with the concrete then sure, i apologize.
Yes, an orange vest let's you do all manner of things in plane sight, but only during working hours. A clip board also lends an air of legitimacy. Latex enhanced patching mix doesn't need color added.
Actually all you need is the vest and a hardhat or if your a nerd like me a 2 way radio outranks all that. Prankster Jack Vale did it with his UNCHAP series as an experiment. I did it for fun too. Works just fine at night as well. Construction happens at all hours.
Two way radio also. I had my ham radio walkie talkie clipped to the side of my belt and no one said anything when I was metal detecting this construction lot and digging up holes (which I filled after).
I saw a video where I could see Michael Burnett in the background wearing an orange vest like that. I messaged him on Instagram and asked if he was doing that to avoid getting kicked out. He said (something like) "Yeah, it really works well too". I immediately ordered one, lol. It's in my camera bag now. It's super clutch.
It really just depends on how big the cracks are. You don't necessarily need to fill the entire length of the crack. Just fill the small section that you're actually rolling over. - Tim
not cool that the guy said to throw the tape into the bush...be respectful to the environment and other people and don't leave your trash behind. thanks.
We didn't say that in our video! But I know which tutorial you're referring to. Totally agree, don't litter your supplies and be respectful to the environment! 🌎✌ - Tim
It doesn't permanently affect the concrete. As the concrete expands and contracts, the bondo breaks loose far before the concrete develops any cracks. 👍

The orange vest idea is so good.

I have another tip. Put Seran wrap/ cling film over it when its drying and it will be easier to sand down as it's already smooth.
Love these videos.

These videos are my guilty pleasure

Did anyone else notice the OJ Wheels Vest?!?! Where can I get that?!? 🍊🧡
can i smooth over a grinding surface with this?
Any of my UK folks out here, what’s the bondo equivalent in the UK? I’ve got some spots to fix!
I checked on google and you can order the actual stuff
Bondo is a "Polyester putty". It's found pretty much everywhere
Car body filler
Can you make a video about how to use wax correctly?
Use flex seal
That stuff is called liquid rubber right. It seems the elastic component could really be even more durable
RIP Ant 4:42
Just did this yesterday
How much do you need? Its kinda expensive where I am but the place I wanna fix up has lots of big cracks

Man why should they kick us out we’re fixing public areas for free ?
Save me before I drove in the comments
You shouldn't mess with cracks that are supposed to be there
that concrete crack he filled in is there for a reason.

Dude is totally right we should just quit riding all together and get jobs fuck fixing spots lol
This is hillarious. Just find a spot to skate, instead of doing construction work
