    Hey everyone! Just as a follow up, Doug and Venus' family have since reconciled. Them being unhelpful with the search, they hadn't come to accept that their son had done wrong, it can be hard to believe someone you love has done something horrible. Later, both families came to terms with what happened, and their relationship is good now, on positive terms. The actions they've shown in the videos here aren't representative of where they are today. Just to let you know!

      So crazy how you posted this a day ago. I was going to say, I'd like to see his parents response after they acted like that. The denial of a child's actions, is what's wrong with so many children today. No consequences for their actions and no punishments.

      I was hoping that you'd also say that the prison officials immediately confiscated the XBOX as soon as he showed where her body was. Instead of "Coffee is for closers" it should be "XBOX'S aren't for murderers!"

    How broken Venus’s mum sounds: ‘We don’t want to fight with you.’
    Mocking the victims family like that is just vile. Tearing down the victim’s poster is just cruel and delusional. Can they still say that their son is innocent when they see the footage of him showing the police where he buried her?
    He waited 8 years to reveal where her body was, torturing the family from behind bars. He is not sorry. If he had any true remorse he would’ve given them closure immediately.

He wanted a bang maid who earned a living for him while he sat at home and played Xbox for 12 hours a day, ignoring his kids. She took that from by leaving and he resented it. His crime was totally about jealousy. You can tell by the narcissism and entitlement in his parents' behavior that he believed the world owed him a free ride.

At 18 i completely stopped talking to him and haven't talked to him in 25 years. He lives in Toronto, Canada and i live in Chicago, US, the crazy thing is my sister forgave him and they talk daily but I simply can't get the abuse out of my head I remember my mom running around the house with her face covered in blood because he would use hammers, pots, pans and metal baseball bats to hit her and he would keep hitting her until she was covered in blood and passed out. I will never forgive him, even though he was very nice to me I still hate him for it. Put yourself in the shoes of the parents, imagine what they've been through, the amount of social pressure they've been through, at every minute of their lives they're reminded of what happens, every conversation they strike up will involve what their child did by other parties, everywhere they look they see these pictures that remind them, over and over. There will be people that haras them because of people trying to take justice in their own hands, purposefully putting these posters around where the parents work/live/get groceries, everywhere, to name the slightest example. On top of that, getting fired from their jobs, friends and family turning on them, hate calls, etc, etc, etc. All for something they didn't do, that wasn't their fault.
      You would snap too and take down the posters, and then another piece of shit harrases you when you take down these posters, you would act up too. It's like a son being socialy prosecuted for the crimes of his father but in reverse.
      Their entire lives collapsed because of something out of their control, yet here you are, giving them more shit.
      This is an example of why I hate people, they're monkeys in suits, pretending they're not monkeys in suits, while they're throwing their shit at each other. Religion, starsigns, pseudoscience, fallacies, biases, jumping on the narrative hate/hype train without thinking for themselves, people not understanding that they're at mercy of the chaos that is our world, etc, etc, etc. I could name a hundred more examples, it fucking sucks to not be born as average, I suffer immensely from the general public short sightedness and their stupidity. @justinalbin7272 3 роки тому +15

      Well she claimed he molested their daughter, at a time in which she was trying to gain full custody of their children. She clearly had a motive to lie, there's no better method of character assassination than to accuse someone of molesting a child. Neither of us can say with any certainty whether he did it or not. Though considering the fact that police had all of his devices searched, that these allegations had been made prior, and that prosecutors were trying a mostly circumstantial case, I'm confident that if they had any evidence that he did so it would have come out at trial as a motive for the murder.

      @@imogenx9145 what you call "personal diaries" were some handwritten notes on printer paper. Look I'm not defending the guy, he's a confessed murderer, just pointing out that someone who was trying to gain custody of their children absolutely had motive to lie about something like that. As far as something submitted to the courts, the child's statement was on a police report, yet again something that the mother had motive to possibly coach the child to say. These things happen. These allegations came during the same month in which she left him. Maybe he did molest his daughter, he's a murderer so he's clearly not a shining beacon of morality, I'm just saying she'd hardly have been the first person fighting for custody of children to come up with molestation allegations.

    • @PiXie232
      @PiXie232 3 роки тому +22

      @@justinalbin7272 ummm.. it wasn’t just in her diary… check again.. it was actually investigated by the police, there was a full investigation- which is, I’m sure why she ended up getting full custody of their kids, because he was sexually abusing his daughter. It wasn’t just her rambling thoughts on the page by any means. There was actual proof to back it up. Go back and watch the video again.

    • @justinalbin7272
      @justinalbin7272 3 роки тому +7

      @@PiXie232 There was an investigation made of the claims made from the child during school, which Kalamazoo prosecutors declined to charge him for. St. Joseph's county charged him in a civil action, but I couldn't find anything about the outcome of that. I believe if there were any good evidence that he had done it then it would have come out at his murder trial so that the prosecutor could have provided an additional motive for the murder while labeling him a child molester at the same time. I'm confident Mike would have included anything the prosecution had to say regarding the molestation allegations, so I'm assuming there weren't any at the murder trial because there wasn't any firm evidence of it. I think that because he's a murderer people are discounting the possibility that she could have been making up the claims even though such things are known to happen in custody disputes.
