Great Video Henbu ! Most people might know this but still wanted to point out - While we can not configure the Fn button for any other functionality, the menu inside the Fn button is highly customizable and various different options can be selected and changed. To change the default shortcuts to other available shortcuts for both Photo and Video : 'Menu->Setup->Operation Customize->Fn Menu Settings (select and press ok on any of the shortcuts which will then allow to select other possible setting option to be part of Fn Menu)
This is the single most useful video of the A7IV I have ever seen, these guy made shooting in slog-3 fun

Hey, there can you please explain why we have to a specific PP for a specific LOG For Example PP 7 For S LOG 2 and PP 8 For S LOG 3 and PP 11 for S - Cinetone why is that?

You said there was a problem with 8bit and slog3 in the old cameras. But you set up HD120fps with 8bit and slog3 for the a7 IV. So is this really recommended or isn‘t it better to record in 709 for HD120fps with 8bit?

I noticed that the Image Quality sections for video and photo look a little different. I noticed Aspect Ratio only shows up in photo mode, does this mean that all video is automatically shot in 16:9 or is there another place to change that as I didn’t see an aspect ratio setting for video.
Great vid, maybe you are aware but you can get 10 bit 422 120p if you do it through s&q mode. You lose the audio but well worth it for the better colour space I recon
When you export with s&q, do you lose some quality? i dont really care losing audio bc i put music over my vids.

My settings on my a7iv are different in that when I use XAVC S 4K, I can only choose 25p and 140m 4:2:2 10bit, otherwise it’s 100M 4:2:0 8bit
Use NTSC mode for that, there is an option in last menu
When I shoot the proxies they stretch out when I import them into premier pro if it’s for a reel framing, do you know a fix?

HENBU please help with a monitor question. Trying to find a monitor for my a7iv where I can see the AF square box, face tracking and tapping for autofocus ON the actual external monitor as well as the sony lcd screen while recording video. Can't seem to find any monitor that supports this. I've seen the portkeys monitor that supports touch to autofocus but I find it so strange that there isn't one monitor on the market that shows the touch tracking box on it. I feel like I would constantly be looking at the LCD screen which defeats the whole purpose of a monitor. Any advice?

It's a very well-made and informative video! Thanks for all of that! One tip. Some UA-camrs say "now we're going to go ahead and" over and over. You were using the word "actually" over and over and even used it three times in one sentence. That's something to eliminate from your presentation because it means the same thing without the word.
Are these settings good for the a6700? Same sensor as FX30 and I've heard people call it the mini a7iv aha

Hi A question, on, the aps c s"( shooting mine is on off and can not change it? What do i do wrong. (it says XAVCS4K(file format) and on the color tone @ picture profile it is on OFF and can not change it it says log shooting Cine EI
When you were setting your custom mode dials, you left your ISO on 200 instead of the Log profile which should be 800 on the Sony A7IV.. Did you do that on purpose for some reason or was it just a mistake, bc every time you use those Custom Mode settings you will have to manually change the ISO to 800 before you start shooting... When ever I shoot Slog I am on 800 or 3200 only which gives the highest dynamic range apparently.
Can you make a tutorial on sharpening footage? In one of your videos you said it’s better to leave in camera sharpening on -7 but how can you do better in post?

Hi, I wonder how it works. I always hear you need to start coloring your slog3 vid with rec709 and then apply lut. How it works with your luts? Do they have 'built' in rec709 or i need to apply this before using ur luts? Thanks in advance

Thinking of getting sigma 24-70 f/2.8 and sigma 35 f/1.4 any recommendations on those vs the Sony 24 f/1.4 GM, and the Zeiss 16-35 f/4?
Sigma senses are great for the price. Auto focus works well. But if you have enough cash, then for for sony.
Can anyone advise why when I’m finished it zooms in/out between 1/2 record settings? So 60fps zooms much closer than 24? Please!
Quick question, is there a reason that you shoot video and photos to separate cards? I know a lot of people like to do simultaneous recording (not sure that's what they call it) so they have copies of their stuff on two cards, in case one fails.
