@@BebyBaingan93 I do not dispute that Ibanez makes good guitars, and the AZ seems to have it right out of the park. What I am grumbling about, is the price....
There is a rationale about the shortened pick guard. Take a look at Andy's AT-100 prototype. The pick guard pointy edge is missing. It fell because they over-tightened the screw. So they removed that part, and it now surrounds the screw better.
@@p6x2 Eh, not sure I buy that, but it's not just that it's shorter that bothers me- the radius of the edge doesn't match the guitar body at all- it looks like it belongs on a totally different guitar. Again, I'm nitpicking, but for $2k that should be higher quality.
@@yjmsrv I see what you mean. I will have to take a closer look at a production model when they reach retailers in June. The particular guitar Andy is playing is a prototype, and it may not be aesthetically perfect. From what I understood, the guitar will be around the 2.7 k;
Yeah I don't think the pickguards look great... I absolutely love the 2204F TAB but covering up that blue flamed maple top with bright ass white pearloid pickguard kinda bugs me. Why couldn't they just body mount the pickups with a rear electronics cavity?
Andy sounds good on absolutely anything, no matter the amp., the pedal, the guitar.... he is a master at his craft, so melodic, so musical. He is one of the few that does not make instrument technique into an endless senseless noodling.
@@disc_laimer The name of the song is "That day came", from the "Theme from a perfect world" album. This song is about the passing of Andy's long time family cat.
muss ich mir echt noch einen lonestar besorgen? I own exactly that same head and rectifier cabinet, and I must admit the Lonestar is sweet. However, I have heard Andy played on many different amplifiers, and he still sounds like himself. As ever, his tone is in his fingers....
Andy is a Sound Monster!!
Why is cry for you the only song that got a lot of views?
Best sounding AZ model so far.
I agree, however an expensive one...
@@p6x2 AZ its monster man .. i have one

I agree this is the only az where the neck got differ.
I kinda hated other az neck
Andy almost played Electric Gypsy.. my favorite!
In this case, listen to it there... ua-cam.com/video/AotIQzCZrwo/v-deo.html
What a musician!
that eletric gypsy lick is killer, I also dig the matte look
Love from PH.
What a great guitarist and seems like such a super cool guy!!
sound like in heaven, crazy!!
Great gear but I have to be honest I just came here to listen to Andy Noodling! Wow!
All hail the tone king!!!!!!!
Magic sound!!!
How does Andy get this stratty tone with humbuckers?
This is better than the silversky.
I concur with you in that Ibanez makes quality instruments, and the AZT is no exception. But in Andy's hands, any guitar would sound good....
I like the design of this better. I would buy this, but not the PRS @@p6x2
Been wanting a guitar with a baked maple neck and then this comes out!
Music Man has been doing this for a few years, and Charvel just started doing this last year with the DK24.
Can they make a cheaper version? Like made in Korea! ❤️
If there's one it would be made in indonesia;) but az series are quite pricey, made in japan is about $2000ish, made in indonesian is $1000+

Spar dir denen KOmmentar. Andys ATZ klingt sehr gut!
THE DELAY MAN !!
Lovin' the tone on the new ATZ100 but still hating that ill-fitting pick guard.

Not a bad little guitar
Why is there so much hiss on this video?

Matt Damon!!!
Bourne Supremacy
IMO, this is guitar is nothing compared to classic AT100
Evgeny Korotenko
It surely has better specs but I much prefer the hss configuration and looks. I would love the SS frets tough
Too much $ for meeeee....😱😱😱😱
I was talking to a boutique luthier, and for 2500, I can get a guitar built by one single guy....
Pisk Six
I would prefer a married one than a single, married people tend to be more responsible :p

nice guitar, not so good guitarist
You're an idiot.
Are you for real? That comment must be a wind up? Surely?
I call bull shit.
