Isn't the bar meant to be longer than the height of your tongue when you first get it pierced, your tongue tends to get quite swollen and needs room between each end ball of the piercing to expand and swell?

Y’all have pretty ass teeth and know how expensive cosmetic dental work is. I didn’t know all this back then and now have a couple broken molars and some crack lines on my teeth. This was caused by biting on the tongue ring while eating. 🙍🏽♂️
