Elden Ring 1.12 patch notes en.bandainamcoent.eu/elden-ring/news/elden-ring-patch-notes-version-112
Amazing game, amazing DLC. Maybe these games can be tested with frame unlock through mods
Appreciate the vid. Especially because it’s clearly a game you love and you’re actually showing your first moments walking into it. It adds more impact. Most people would have started it offline and just showed a section they had already played later. Especially since this isn’t a walkthrough or Let’s Play. DLC has been phenomenal so far though. Have fun with it man.
I don’t get how some people say this game doesn’t look good or hold up to modern games. Game is jaw dropping and has such a unique visual makeup.
It beggars belief that they still haven’t added a shader compilation process before starting the game. On lower end systems the frame stutters are a lot more noticeable.
Totally broken frame rate on 4090 with i7 13700k unless you disable ray tracing. Drops to 30s in lots of different part of the map.
Been having the same issue with that card paired w/ a 13900K. It seems related to the day/night cycle and/or foliage heavy areas. Sunset and sunrise tank fps in wooded/dense scenes. Not sure how this is related to the RT ambient occlusion but it definitely is.
@@natuaaderholt7150 same here - thought i was going insane!
Man have to wait until 10pm to play it, i want to try it on my 4090 and 7900xtx. Also want to see how it does on my 13900hx 4070 laptop. And see if it will run at all on the ally. Hopefully it will do 720p 30fps.
This DLC is hard even the fodder hit like a truck on lvl 190 plus characters lol
Hi. Appreciate all the work on the videos! Can I ask if you are still using LLC level 6? Is that to stabilise the overclock you have, as I know lower llc can have higher idle voltages, but isn't the higher llc giving higher load voltage/temps? Sorry to bug you with that, but would be good to have a comparison with my similar system. Thanks.
Also hate that i played it on ps5 at first i have it on pc but the only way im playing it there is if they eventually let you transfer your save game. I wanted a physical copy of it so i picked up ps5 version and im at level 140-150(cant remember)
Is the performance better then the base game with RT enabled? Any sense of optimizations?
Don't fixed stutter issues?
is there a way to unlock the framerate?
Yes, there are mods to unlock it
Yes. With the FPS Unlock Mod. I play it at 120 FPS (7800X3D and RTX 4080) and it runs buttery smooth and 100 times better than at 60 FPS.
Yes but be careful some people reported aggressive stutters when uncapping the fps
i play at 4k 144 and i have no stutters other than the occasional ones you get with elden ring at 60 fps. if the frame rate mod doesn’t work after update then you need to reinstall the mod loader. that worked for me. also you can set a cap in the config file for the mod and force vsync in nvidia control panel and it will be buttery smooth
@@cadendewet9935 For me it only started to stutter after the update, I switched from full screen to borderless windows and after that it worked great.
13:03 WTF
Looks unplayable. Maybe most people are immune to stuttering but this is bad frametime.
fps unlocker ?
bored fighting this mediocre enemies, perfect death next moment
Only 60 fps?
Yes Elden Ring and Dark Souls games are locked to 60fps.
13:52
unlock fps.
what raytracing is in this? just shadows?
Ambient occlusion.
My 4080 somehow underperforms, it can in some locations still dip below 60 at 1440p...
Cpu?
@@SerbStar2011 13600k
Same here at 4k with 4090 and i7 13700k
some1 knew how to unlock fps in fullscreen mode so u can use hdr with hight fps ? so bad port tbh no fsr dlss ultrawide support and 60 hz forced when u going fullscreen mode
Good improvement on my 4090 using rt
I couldn't hold 60fps and now it doesn't drop below
Mine drops every now and then with the same gpu but using a 13900k
@@Motion_God same
Haha it drops badly on a 4090 with i7 13700k.
Is this game capped to 60 fps? Can fps be unlocked without issues?
You have to mod it. Maybe Lossless scaling can work without mods
@@albin7772 I see, thank you!
You should add a frame time graph as well as this video conveys a smooth 60fps but the actual game has frame time instabilities. Would be good if you added one for future uploads. Love from india❤
I already have one.The frame time graph is at the top left hand corner of my on screen display.
My bad. Information load I guess.
I play it with an R7 7800X3D and an RTX 4080. I use FPS unlock mod and play it at 120 FPS and it runs buttery smooth and 100 times better than at 60 FPS.
Do you play at fullscreen or borderless resolution ?
i’m using the unlock frames mod as well and run it at 144. you need to reinstall elden mod loader and it should work no problem. i use borderless but it will work in fullscreen too
@@RebellionLamperougeBorderless window. It stutters in full screen mode.
pisschilling 120fps with AFMF on RX6800, very stable and smooth, you should try it if you have an amd gpu
i love your build tho
