To me the saddest one in the video is David Von Erich. No just because he died young, and from something that could easily been prevented. But because it started a chain of events in his family that led to three of his younger brothers (also wrestlers) committing suicide.
I don't want to sound mean, but many of these deaths are actually drug-related. I think that heart attacks are rare in people under 50, yet there are whole lot of them in wrestling. I believe 90% of these are from drug use or years of drug abuse wrecking their internal organs, thus bringing on the heart attack. Many of the older ones (60+) died from things which people that age die from, but with few exceptions, most died from drug related causes or suicide. Also, in the cases of Sherri and Miss Elizabeth, I heard that their overdoses were deliberate, so wouldn't that then be classified as "suicide".

Actually, Crash Holly's death was a suicide by drug overdose. There are like 10 people on your list that committed suicide on different ways including: Eddie Graham Mike Von Erich Kerry Von Erich The Renegade Crash Holly Mike Awesome Chris Benoit Ludvig Borga Chris Kanyon Sean O'Haire
I think that there should be some sort of investigation into the WWE - it is not normal for this many people to be dropping dead in their 30's and 40's
Apparently, "Macho Man" died of a sudden heart attack while behind the wheel of his Jeep Cherokee. The accident happened because the jeep started veering, and his wife grabbed the wheel to drive it off the road, and into a tree, instead of the oncoming lane of a major highway, where the jeep was veering. Also, I read that Savage's heart attack was due to an aortic dissection, the same thing that killed actor John Ritter.

His car accident was caused by him having a heart attack. At first, it seemed that he died on impact. But the coroner later ruled that he was dead at the wheel of the car, and it subsequently crashed. His wife, who was in the passenger, actually crashed the car, to stop it veering into oncoming traffic, as the car did when Savage died. BTW, Savage's heart attack wasn't considered "drug related". It was due to a medical condition where he had a hole in his heart (it's the same type that John Ritter died from).
@dale henderson yeah late randy savage brother lana aka genius talked about his brother had condition with his heart as he has said a few yrs ago i listen to on here youtube.
a quick update for this video. Balls Mahoney was recently posthumously diagnosed with CTE. It's pretty common in contact sports, multiple blows to the head leading to trauma. It can add up overtime. It's not official as of now, though.
@reformed rex no doubt since alot of chair shots to head in old heyman ecw also wwe. since balls was hardcore wrestler in old ecw also wwe new ecw also indies. so no suprise with balls mahoney who took alot chair shots to head alot of trauma in old ecw.
...or damage to major organs caused by drugs, which then makes them more prone to infection and other causes of death, because the body can't "protect" them like it is supposed to.
Randy "Macho Man" Savage's heart attack was a little different to many of the others. Apparently, it had nothing to do with lifestyle. I heard that it was an aortic dissection, the same thing that killed John Ritter. It is often genetic and a birth defect. It is often undiagnosed and the person is like a ticking time bomb. So Savage could have died at any time from it in all his years. He was fortunate to get to the age he did. It happened when he was driving his car with his wife. But he had the heart attack at the wheel, and died. The car crashed because it started to veer into the opposite lane, and his wife turned the wheel and drove it into a tree. So the accident didn't kill him, the heart attack did. Savage's wife was credited with saving lives by driving the car away from traffic, but couldn't save Randy, who was dead behind the wheel.
Back during my teens I had imagined myself being one of these wrestlers, the American Shepherd was going to be my ringside name. Maybe it's best that that never happened after seeing this. I wonder if I'd still be alive today.
Anna Cribbs Yes. Ric Flair got his nickname " Nature Boy" from Buddy Rogers. As a matter of fact Ric Flair was in an airplane crash around the mid 70's in which it affected his wrestling style. Later on he had a match against Buddy Rogers over the nickname "Nature Boy" Ric Flair won and start using it in addition to Buddy Rogers' Wrestling style and finishing move the Figure Four leg lock.

Randy Savage died in a car accident?
He had an accident because he had an mi
he sufferd a heart attack while he was in the car.
Heart attack at the wheel
a quick update for this video.
Hawk from the 'Legion of Doom' died? He was a legend...."Oooh what a ruuuussh'
To all Wrestlers who had have passed away even thought, you still in our's heart forever.
R.I.P
You can add the Iron Shiek to the list.
Terry Funk, Bray Wyatt, and Ole Anderson as well
By the way, you can convert AT LEAST half the heart attacks and heart failures to death by drugs...
...or damage to major organs caused by drugs, which then makes them more prone to infection and other causes of death, because the body can't "protect" them like it is supposed to.
@@dhenderson1810 ...or just large size.
Oh yeah ! Dig it!
R.i.p Owen hart
Rip brian phillmen dave boy Smith and jim nidhart
Back during my teens I had imagined myself being one of these wrestlers, the American Shepherd was going to be my ringside name. Maybe it's best that that never happened after seeing this. I wonder if I'd still be alive today.
It's shocking to See so many of them were murderd
Amazing how young some of them were. I just turned 50, most were younger than me...wow.
Most wrestlers die in their 40's just like many of these did.
Very good and some facts I did not know. Some of your dates are wrong.
R.I.P Yokozuna How he died: Pulmonary Edema and R.I.P André The Giant we all miss these people who died R.I.P all of them
From weighing 700 pounds
Tim Markell no he weighed 621 pounds and he tried to make it to 800 pounds
@@crycolsalithebeast1749 Lol, oh, well, if it was only 621 pounds, you could hardly die from that jumping around a wrestling ring!
Suicides, heart disease and drug addiction seems to be rampant in the wrestling industry. May they all rest in peace...
Did you know that Mr perfect was Curtis Axel's dad
music reminds me of the old Amiga 500 computer games
Rick rude died on the day of columbine
Same with both Owen Hart & Gorilla Monsoon of 1999.
Song?
Why did you put someone which death reason is unknown 😱
manasseh gaming because no one has info on how they died.
Art Barr was likely a heart attack related to a mix of drugs and alcohol. Balls Mahoney was a heart attack.
@@janinehansen4410 Because he's a wrestler who died.
what is track?
Wonder is that where Ric Flair gt his nick name 4rm? The other wrestler Nature Boy...?
Anna Cribbs Yes. Ric Flair got his nickname " Nature Boy" from Buddy Rogers. As a matter of fact Ric Flair was in an airplane crash around the mid 70's in which it affected his wrestling style. Later on he had a match against Buddy Rogers over the nickname "Nature Boy" Ric Flair won and start using it in addition to Buddy Rogers' Wrestling style and finishing move the Figure Four leg lock.
Omg!!! WOW Thank u... Thats sumthing i never knew...
