My mom told me that when I was about 2 years old, she took me to a show. My uncle worked security there. I always got to go backstage and meet the wrestlers. Macho Man came up and said something in character and it was loud and I cried because he scared me. Mom said that Ms. Elizabeth politely took me from my mom and calmed me down. I was born disfigured but Ms. Elizabeth said that I was a beautiful and precious little man.

I remember reading in Bret's book that Elizabeth was much like a bird in a cage and that Savage was insanely jealous of her. I can understand how Savage would feel the need to protect her from the over sexualization of women in the locker room. It's a really tragic story of what has happened to so many within the wrestling industry for so long. So many names are gone now that used to grace our TV sets and magazines. So many iconic names are now footnotes in wrestling memorials, including but not only Randy Savage, Rick Rude, Curt Hennig, Big Boss Man, and so many, along with so many women who have died at such young ages in the business. Elizabeth, Sherri Martel, Luna Vachon, and Woman are just a few of the names that no longer greet us in the wrestling world. Sad that so many more deaths occur in this profession than in any other sports or entertainment based profession. Elizabeth was truly a very iconic figure and will never be forgotten.

the death of Liz always reminds me of the death of Whitney Houston. From both being perceived as just darlings, to the fall from grace, to even the "bad boys" in their lives getting the blame for their demise. But just as with Whitney Houston, I didn't blame Bobby Brown when it was well known that Whitney was using long before she knew Bobby, im willing to wager that Liz was also using long before she knew Lex Luger. But when you combine to volatile people like that, they begin to basically become bad influences on one another.

Bringing up Savage being overprotective is a moot point simply because even if she stayed with him she wouldn't have been in a good mental state. She might've committed suicide over his control issues. I'm sorry but she wasn't a saint as she was a drug addict and knew Luger was married yet still continued their relationship.
She could've left the wrestling business for good and perhaps if she stayed away she'd be living an ideal life. She reunited with danger and I feel that's what led to her death. That said, RIP. I always thought she was so beautiful. It's sad how her life played out, but an object lesson here - nice people can be addicts. Addiction is an illness, not a personality flaw.

Tanvir kas : I wasn’t denying that Miss Elizabeth had a affair with Lex Luger. What I said was that she was a lady. I think when Lex Luger and Miss Elizabeth had a affair was after Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth divorced. So technically that doesn’t mean Elizabeth and Lex Luger we’re creating Adultery. I think 🤔 you need to understand what I said before you spoke. 👍👍🇺🇸

In the early 2000s I was working at the local auditorium, building a locker room for a hockey team. WCW was in town for Nitro, so we had a fun day. All these wrestlers walking around us as we laid cinder block. Got to see a lot of people I had seen on TV for years.
At one point I turned a corner and there she was,Miss Elizabeth talking on a pay phone to someone. I remember that she looked tired. Her makeup was on heavy, and she was nodding yes to whoever was on the other end of the phone, as if they could see her.
As i walked up she looked up and I smiled. She gave me a smile back.
Tired, probably jet lagged, busy on the phone, she had a smile for a grungy construction worker half-covered in block dust. The woman was truly a princess.
    Rest in peace, lovely.
