The Order: 1886 is such an underrated game. It needed more time in the oven and was too short. It's a shame that we'll never get a sequel.

The world & lore of The Order: 1886 is very interesting indeed. If only the game were longer.

I don't think he really cares about it anymore. He did show his distaste of it in his "Knack 2" video, but that's just what I think.

Honestly, while I admit it IS flawed in many ways, I had a blast playing Twisted Metal 3 as a kid. Hell I believe it was the reason I found Rob Zombie in my youth, so you gotta give credit for that lol

Yea i dont get it either, i thought both games were fine. Ill admit the first feels extremely limited compared to the second but i bought both games and dont regret either

Knack was fine. The first game has issue, but wasn't that bad. The second game where it finally shine, improve a lot. Really hope to see Knack 3. Imagine more improvement they can make now

Lair and knack weren't that bat. It was pretty awesome back when the ps3 launched to be flying around with a huge battle going on below you which actually felt vivid. And knack is a fun, Solid game
If Lair is released on Wii it would be better or opinions to have a mode to enable or disable motion controls
@@rolando90s thats true, it was supposed to be motion controlled, maybe even to be used for that ps3 motion thing they released back then that was like a wii remote
Honestly Twisted Metal 3 is one of my favorites and I have played most of the TM series. It isn't terrible just rushed. It does have one the best music selections of the series.
I agree, how can they call TMIII terrible? To be fair it was my first TM so I am bias, but it was very entertaining despite it's shortcomings. Honestly this UA-cam channel is full of kids that didn't grow up with these games so they just hate on them because it's what everyone else does
Couldn’t have disagreed more about Twisted 3. I’ve literally never heard anybody complain about that one. That was always my favorite
Knack was fun. My nephew loved it cause it was easy to learn and play. Kinda like a beatem up game.

It’s an absolute joke that The Order 1886 is so high on this list. It’s arguably not even a bad game. Short, yes. By the numbers gameplay at times, hell yes. Especially with the QTEs but it had a really good premise. A very cool world, lore and characters. Yes, fantastic visuals which do count for something. I also don’t remember it being particularly buggy at launch which is much more than we can hope for nowadays. I think it’s underrated. Actually, after this list I know it’s underrated.
Knack was a good game and the sequel was good as well
A game that deserved to be on the list is The Last Guardian
I really enjoyed On The Loose as a kid, but I chalk that up to the fact that I didn't have any other games in the series to compare it to at the time, so I was fully unaware I was playing a version that misses the point of the whole series lol.
Biggest issue for Lair was that Sony made the devs use the awful motion controls as the only option. They were also all over the project changing stuff. But mostly the motion controls that they were desperate to make it a thing. Too sad bc i really love lair, even when i played with the horrible controls. At least the devs were able to put up a patch to use analog controls before sony closed them down.
...but I like Twisted Metal III.

The order 1886 was an amazing game. Games don't have to 100+ hours to be enjoyable and some times short and sweet works

Most of my games are all indie anyway so what does that tell yeah still enjoyable games none the less
Unfortunately what went against order 1886 is the amount of hype it built up for its self that lead people to be disappointed by its short length and also it released at full price.
For $10 great! For $60 no way
We Should've Gotten Power Stone On PS2 and XBOX during the early 2000's Instead of PSP wasted opportunity

Stop hating on Knack! It was an excellent game without the gratuitous sex and violent imagery seen today. Honestly, I don't understand why most of the PS games require you to play in a dark room with the sound off. #JusticeForKnack

I had the missfourtune of buying Knack as my 1st PS4 title, which reminded me how Sony loves movies that you play, and Nintendo loves games that are just games. Game Cube's Wario World is a beat em up that knocks Knack out of the park.

I had no problem getting the Destruction AllStars platinum recently. Minus one trophy I needed to boost, I got the rest on my own. Plus the game has had many quality of life improvements since launch. If you can get it off of Playstation Plus, try it out.
Twisted Metal 3 is a good game. There are no bad Twisted Metal games, just good ones and great ones.
I still really enjoyed the order 1886, it had a cool story and I would have enjoyed seeing more installments. I actually seek out shorter experiences as I get put off by 100 hour grind collectathons
knack is tied with skylanders trap team for being my nr.1 favorite game of all time
Trap Team is so good! I still love how it utilized the captured villains & the speaker in the portal
i heard that the main problem with "lair", was that they thought they HAD to used the brand new...
drat i forgot the name, the gimmick where you TILT THE CONTROLLER.
trying to STEER with that was impossible.
i THINK they made a patch that gave you the option to the the stick controls, but it was too late to save their reputation.
Something else terrible about the Ape Escape on the Loose was how they changed the dialogue and voice cast. The dialogue and voices in the original were great. Some have complained about the voice acting for the US version, but it's really not that bad. On the Loose just makes the characters annoying. They made Spike and Jake sound like geeky little kids, Natalie's little kid voice is really aggravating to listen to, and The Professor's more of a obsessive inventor. And it just makes them really annoying. Plus Specter actually sounded evil in the original. And in On the Loose he just sounds like a little bully and not intimidating at all. Was the idea to make that version more geared towards younger kids? They should remaster the game again for the PS5 with the original dialogue so they can have a remake for the game done right.
The order 1886 no longer cost 60 dollars, so this rant is no longer relevant. Besides, 6 hours isn't that short, at least in my opinion.

Oh man, Lair...that one makes me so sad because I love Dragon Rider stories & games so I really wanted to like this game too, plus it was made by Factor 5, the same developers if a lot of great Star Wars games I loved, this game made that company go out of business.
I actually liked Twisted Metal 3, sure it wasn't as good as the first two but it was still fun

Knack was a fun game to play and the sequel was way better because it improved on alot of the problems with the first game knack 3 I'm excited for when that one is realesed gonna be a fun time
Honestly, outside of the Resistance Fall Of Man series, every Sony Exclusive on PS3 was straight trash for it’s like first 3 years of existence

I liked Twisted Metal III... I thought it was better than 2, but I'm in a vast minority there. Can't get passed the first level of 2, while III has some nice Rob Zombie tunes (as does 4!)
TM4 was flawless. TM3 was my intro to the series. I spent hours and hours as a kid playing the series until black came out. TM3 was very good, TM4 the Pinnacle and Black was very dark, the gameplay was good. I have very good memories because of that series. Mojo just completely invalidated themselves. The TM series and NFS made my childhood
Dreamworks and Sony have come to rely far too much on franchisies like Ice Age, Despicable Me, Minions Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda, Hotel Transylvania and Happy feet.
Ridge Racer isn’t a Sony exclusive it’s on Xbox and PC.
That version of Ridge Racer was exclusive to the Vita.
So you mention all these PS exclusive games the worst, yet you don't mention Life of Black Tiger on the PS4 ? That game is worse than any of these 10 games.

Knack was quite fun, actually. The reason is: I wanted fun combat, not platforming. And I got fun combat with little to no platforming. Size gimmick was missed potential though. The story was clichéic, but it doesn't matter much considering the story isn't important to me in video games.

I played THE HELL out of Twisted Metal 3. For some reason known but to god, I used to get a kick out of endlessly ramping Specter off the Sphinx in egypt map.

"The Order: 1886" deserves better.
I find it sad how many games, especially after the PS3, Xbox 360, and the Wii launched and their successors were the perfect place to try to port arcade classics to home consoles. Just look at Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter or anything else. Especially with current TVs.
Knack and the order don't deserve to be on here. I enjoyed both games

Twisted Metal 3? Put that disc in the playstation and left the lid up, Discovered audio Tracks playable in CD players! It's how I discovered Rob Zombie. Also I had a Blast playing that game. Might have had an issue or 2 but doesn't belong on this list!

The order 1886 had soo much potential, it had a great universe to build on, had amazing lore, story was great but damn was it a let down. I consider it a great story bad game. I wish we would have gotten a part 2 or more games in that universe

As a semi long time gamer with PlayStation consoles and handhelds, I was lucky not to have any of these games.

🐵In huge retrospect, it's a shame that Sony always favored Ape Escape On The Loose over Ape Escape Academy when it came to the Ape Escape PSP games as unlike On The Loose, Ape Escape Academy was a fun game and offered replay value with its multiple mini games you unlock throughout the game which predated mobile phone games of today. Yet Sony always chooses to carelessly cast it aside and only release On The Loose for both the PSP and Vita Network Stores.
🤡As a huge Twisted Metal fan, I can agree that Twisted Metal 3 is the worst in the series for not just it's drastic change in tone & artstyle but also featuring bad controls, dull level designs, and painfullly awful arcade endings that try way too hard to capture the dark & demented fates for each drivers only to fail miserably. Not to mention they lazily rehash Mr. Grim's ending from TM1 (enter the contest to reap Calypso's soul). The game was so bad that even the original creators absolutely hated it. Glad they recon that game with the awesome PSP game, Twisted Metal Head-On (my 2nd favorite game in the series behind Twisted Metal Black).

The gameplay was fun and I've contemplated playing both games again. Backlog and the fact that thr story was a bit of a mess is what is preventing me
I'm not japanese and I play Knack game. Personally, I like it. The first game yea this one had issue, but is not that bad. The second game improved so much. I really want Knack 3 to be honest. Trust me, despite all the meme about Knack, a lot of people like the game. Most agree it is nowhere near a perfect game, but is not bad.
Ridge Racer (PSVita): it wasn't his failure that lead to the franchise's demise
Lair (PS3): it got patched to include traditional controls after the negative feedback from the broken Sixaxis controls
Fat Princess Adventures (PS4): it's a spin-off of the original game, it can go in different directions and STILL take place in the same universe
Knack (PS4): the game was decent and took advantage of some of the PS4's features, not to mention it paved the way for more 3D platformers on the console
The Order 1886 (PS4): it was a decent and fun short game that didn't overstay its welcome like most AAA action adventure games at the time
Ape Escape On The Loose (PSP): it was saved thanks to the PSVita's ability to customize the controls, so you could set the D-Pad gadget controls on the Vita's right stick

A PS2 game remade for PSP? How could they have attempted a two-stick control scheme on a one-stick system? And I think I can get Kung Fu Rider was far from the best, but I still remember when the PlayStation Move was new and exciting. Anyone got any favourite Move games?

I really enjoy knack it’s the first ps4 game I ever buy when the ps4 first launch love every minute of it too. I’m still waiting for knack 3 too.
In all fairness, Knack 2 is a much better game than the original 👍🏻 Although it still has its underwhelming dialogue
