Spotlighting that girl was pretty freaking cool. This game is just incredible. All the little details like that. The first time I played this game, I remember being just in awe. How good the gameplay and environment/world is, on top of an all-time great story. I couldn't think about anything else for a solid week.

i’ve been playing for two hours now in Hillcrest all morning, got through the first wlf, and i wanted to know how it can be done on grounded+, no damage, stealth.. surprise surprise, this was uploaded AN HOUR AGO thank you sir/ma’am!!
I was in the same boat as you, surrounded by enemies and I only had 3 arrows to wipe them all out. I would suggest using the bow (especially with the rangefinder) and try to headshot all of them, it can take a bit of time and patience but you can get the arrows back if you pull it off and not to mention scissors and tape are surprisingly plentiful. And top advice is to do a bit of save scumming (waiting for a checkpoint) it may be cheating but it’s grounded and hillcrest will be the only time you need do it. Good luck!

God damn it I love this section of the game…I got back into gaming after 20yrs and TLOU 1&2 were my first tastes of modern gameplay…the last game I played was Goldeneye on the N64 in the late 90’s….
You can get high accuracy with a controller, especially if you adjust deadzones. It just requires practice. ngl, not sure what you play, but it's actually a bit disheartening when PC players say that aiming really well on a controller isn't possible. Because that attitude has probably stopped all sorts of games being ported over the years by developers who mainly play on PC.

Honestly, despite its weak story (at least imo), the gameplay is a huge improvement from the first game. Sure it's just another shooting game, but it was really clean. The animation, the environment, the AI, the audio and soundtrack. It's just really fun watching people playing it

After watching the first series I bought the ps5 and I was stunned by the graphics with zero lag it was perfection for how smooth the game played with the graphics. I got the newest remastered
my god this is blowing me away... the level of precision. and timing and mastery of all the mechanics.... I could never hope to emulate this. And you make it look easy! popping people off with the sniper rifle without even using the scope..... quick bow shots taking out multiple enemies. The fucking dogs don't even have a chance to catch onto you! This is so impressive and makes me feel like a chump. I struggle so hard especially on this part of the game. That second part with the dogs and the houses... Hardest part of the game IMO. I die so many times trying to deal with the dogs. And you went through so easily you were toying with the the enemies and making them look like fools! I am in awe!
I went from playing Animal Crossing to this game. I don't know how I did it but it was adrenaline after adrenaline plus anxiety shakes lmao. I played on the normal setting and it was hard yet fun figuring out how to survive and keep going (it becomes addictive). Idk how people can play on a harder level and with this much skill. It is like watching a movie. My husband was amazed that I actually played well since I have no prior experience with this type of game vs him who is a huge gamer. I was motivated to play after watching the show because I wanted to know what happens next. After this game I played the 1st part on the hard level.
This game has absolutely insane combat, even tho i dont like the story, i gotta say this is the best 3rd person shooter ive ever played. Id love a multiplayer game with this exact engine

that’s why i made a custom difficulty where it’s just grounded but supplies are everywhere so i can have an experience like this. but on my first walkthrough i did it the regular way.
