My father has XM 3.0 V6 24V at 1993, here in Brazil 🇧🇷...was a fabulous car in everthing, he was in doubt betwin Mercedes and BMW, só the most diferent was XM...

Citroens with hydrogas suspension are beautiful cars and not that hard to fix, I had a Xantia which I drove from Spain to the South of Russia and back twice, also has a GS which was great too. I miss my Xantia a lot...
Só,here in Brazil,we have xantias with hidramatic suspensions run today,not só gorgeus like XM,but Citroen style

One wonders why the central suspension spheres weren't replaced, as that would give the XM the proper ride it deserves! :-)

Was good enough for Rolls Royce and Mercedes Benz, I know they made the system for RR. I own a C5 and am very happy with it, but I do look after it. First time I've seen inside a cut-away sphere and as they say it's simple and clever, there's no springs on the car.
Just like the first episode of suf wiedersein pet when they broke down in gemany in a ford zepher I think🤣🤣🤣

They need to do a Peugeot 605 V6 the same engine was used in an XM as well. The difference is the Peugeot was luxurious.
The XM 3.0 24V with soft lether interior and automatic gearbox, diravi, sunroof, cruise controll and digital ACC isnt that bad ether 😊
Price might be low due to being a RHD sitting in France.
Let’s not forget it is a scripted show, so they can say whatever they plan to say.

Why is this XM y3 a RHD??? The first Registration was been in France, usually are there only LHD-Cars.

I dont like french cars at all, but I had an xm v6 many years ago, it was a great car to drive, wish I still had it because its so rare now days.
12.55 asked if spheres are front or rear than later acts surprised when asked what about the other 5.....if asked if they are front or rear at 12.55 he must have known there is more than 2.....seems a bit..i dunno....

We have the whole of eastern europe coming to pick up cheap old cars and trail 2 to 3 back at a time.
Literally truck loads of cars leaving for Poland & Lithuania with Croatia coming close behind.
Living in eastern Europe I see many cars imported from the west. They are often in better condition than cars which are already here. Repair and reuse is better for both the users and the environment than the scandal of serviceable vehicles being prematurely 'recycled'.
@@robt2151 There is a fine line between repair and reuse and cars that should no longer be on the roads for security reasons.

Just recently bought myself a '99 XM in mint condition. These are marvellous cars and the last REAL Citroens. And prices are rising, since DS and CX become unaffordable these days.
One little remark on your XM: It's got an automatic transmission and you should have changed the transmission oil. It's an easy job and the 4HP18 is notorious for failing when the oil is not changed regularly. It happened on my previous XM I owned years ago.
Other than that, I do like your channel !

It's not real, guys. No more than the old BBC Step toe and Son series was. Enhoy. Suspend belief. It's fun. No more than that.
Good show but it's a little tiring listening to the old story of making a profit from these cars when everyone watching knows you are making your money from the sale of this TV show................We the viewer aren't that stupid!
