Teriyaki Chicken || TERRI-ANN’S KITCHEN

600g chicken breast fillets
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp honey
2 inch piece ginger
1 tbsp vingegar
2 tbsp water
2 garlic cloves
1 spring onion
1/2 tsp salt on chicken (optional)
1 tbsp corn starch
1-2 tbsp oil
Note: Keep on a medium high heat throughout and just before adding the sauce to the chicken, reduce to a low heat.
Always taste and adjust seasonings as my recipe acts only as a guide. Individual tastebuds are different and substitutions can be made throughout.) Terri

Made it and it was 🔥🔥🔥
But here's what I did diffently:
- I poured seasoning over my corn starch (no salt, paprika, garlic, onion, and Tony's creole seasoning)
- i had boned in chicken thighs so I fried them in the air fryer
- then I put them in a pot and cooked them in the soy sauce
- I then poured all of it in a container of white rice.
- I also made more sauce because that's what I like and my chicken was bigger
I love the opening animation with the ingredients swirling around the kitchen!

Tried this out but instead of salt for the chicken I seasoned it with jerk sauce and added 2 more tablespoons of honey for the teriyaki sauce (I love sweetness combined with pepper). Anyways turned out amazinggggggg and my boyfriends family loved it too! 😅
