Not a comeback. He does independent films he chooses himself. Maybe cuz of interesting role, director or other actors. Been calling his shots for 20+ years and is a millionaire. Since so many of his projects were out last year (4!) they are saying we’re having a Hartnettsaissance. 😁
Villain: Virgin Suicides, Sin City, August, I Come with the Rain, Black Mirror S6E3 (!), off the top of my head. Twisty conflicted villains: Penny Dreadful, Inherit the Viper, Ida Red, Lucky Number Slevin. My favorite is the revengeful Clint Eastwood type character The Drifter in Bunraku (2010) with Woody Harrellson. A hilarious genre mashup where bad guy Hartnett battles badder guys but is afraid of heights and is trying to quit smoking. In our house somebody is watching a Hartnett film streaming, on VOD or dvd at least once or twice a month😊 This week we all watched The Fear Index series where he plays a conflicted villain again!
So my question is what are they looking for? If they have a picture of him why would he be outside in the broad day light. So when they sweep the place what are they looking for? Also, I noticed at one point he walks past cops and has one of those “secret service” earpieces. 🤔
He only left Hollywood, not films. He’s made tons of indie films for over 20+ years and in great demand from indie directors. He lives in England near Guy Ritchie. Guy asked him to do Wrath of Man which he did then Operation Fortune where he gets to play comedy. Directors say they like his interesting choices, always stretching himself. Nolan said that’s why he cast him I Oppie. Last year he had The Fear Index series in UK, Black Mirror S6E3 which won an award, Ruse and Oppenheimer. He not back, he never left. Our family binges Penny Dreadful every Halloween 😊
Might be one of the few decent movies he's made....... that or a total disappointment..... like many he's made.. knows how to make a trailer though I'll give him that
Seriously, what ever happened to big movie stars being admired even inside the film by fellow characters or pretend to audience? No one even takes notice about Josh Harnett and that hurts more than anything. Even the white folk has truly been deceived and disappeared and debunk from cinema. It makes movies so boring and incredibly sad. I don't think it was just about actors and writers looking for better pay. There's just no life in these movies no more.
hollywood finally realizing we needed Josh Hartnett back in our lives 🤟
Not really! He’s old now & not as good-looking anymore!🙄
@@lisamorris7019 He's 45 and I'm 40. So..... to me, he's still good-looking. :)
More like Josh decided he wanted to do a Hollywood movie again. He fled to England long ago.
@@lisamorris7019 How typically shallow. 😂
@@Serai3 So true! And so happy he did. I'm all here for it. ^_^
Would be crazy if Hartnett’s character turned out NOT to be the butcher, and he just coincidentally had a guy tied up in his basement.
Bless your heart ❤
I also wonder if they're telling us the entire plot now or Daddy's NOT the Butcher! I gotta say, he looks good for it.
that's exactly what I thought too I mean it's obvious
Or the guy tied up in the basement is the butcher and he’s a another bad guy
It's not him it's his Kid or that person in the basement is the killer and he doesn't want him free to spend the rest of his life in jail
Loving this Josh Hartnett comeback!

Yikes! Unexpected. Just wow!
Calling it the daughters the butcher and the dads covering for her 😂 it’s an M Night film after all
That would be a crazy twist. No, there's more to this than meets the eye. 😎 💯
OK, a fresh concept.
Josh plays a good villain! Ever since I saw that black mirror episode with him and Jesse in space, great/ sad episode.
That episode chilled me! That chair push, wow!
Mr. Shyamalan always has the original story.
Oh that looks good. So excited to see it.
Whoa. Josh is playing a villain. This'll be interesting. (Though that thumbnail gave the whole thing away, of course.)

It's a TRAP ... for a PARENT ...
is Lohan going to cameo?
Cool, that's the skydome/Roger's center in Toronto.
Yes Yes Yes...can't wait to see it.
Looks phenomenal
I hope it's really good, but I've been disappointed before . M.night movies are a hit or miss😉
This looks so good in the summer omg I love plot twist movies 🍿
Did not see that coming!Whoa! Looks good
This looks good.
The 2020s could be the era of Josh Hartnett again 😎🔥
They’re calling it a Hartnaissance 😆
Josh Hartnett is good in his performance in the 🎥 movie
You guys see that the therapist from the split series is in it at the end
well this looks good!
Considering it’s M. Night Shyamalan, there has to be a twist somewhere.

So he's the bad guy now...🎩
Love him finally hes back

Dont rat me out....proceeds to snitch
That wasn’t his hands on that phone….
🤦🏻♀️ don't search it on Wikipedia.. gave the whole effing thing away
Why would they give that twist away in the trailer?
It's not a twist it's a premise
A MaGuffin.
Oh god. Please tell me he’s not the butcher.
Doesn’t matter, if you look at who the director is, the bad guy is likely to be known from the start because who the bad guy is isn’t the mystery.
Might be one of the few decent movies he's made....... that or a total disappointment..... like many he's made.. knows how to make a trailer though I'll give him that
Haven’t secret killer dads been done like a lot?
so he's the butcher? come one
...bro WHY DID THEY GIVE AWAY THAT HE WAS THE BUTCHER
This director loves the twist. Don’t jump to wrong conclusions….😊
I thought he died
I nevee ley coem every cincer with my loev watchibg wore flirt joby hueeeeeeeekk
So the dad is the bad guy? Hmmm that's disappointing
There’s always going to be the twist….Dont assume nuttin!
@@mgariepy42 let's hope

Have another drink and stop trying to make sense….
Sham-a-Lam-a-Ding-Dong strikes again with another lame plot.
How does Shayamalan still get money to make movies? Another piece of crap from the crapmaster.
