The poses and postures in this yoga routine for golfers will absolutely help you loosen up and unlock your tight shoulders, chest, and back muscles as well as help your hips and legs gain mobility.
Ultimately this entire routine will help you become more fluid and improve your golf swing, ultimately helping you feel and play better.
These yoga stretches given by Yoga Instructor, Zach Zenios, are exactly what you need. He knows how to help you get more out of your body. Range of motion and increased mobility from head to toe is critical in human performance.
That is why top athletes spend so much time on warming up properly and getting their body to move through a FULL range of motion. Zach knows how to tailor yoga for specific sports that results in more mobility and flexibility in muscles and joints.
We are all built differently, no doubt about that. And due to past injuries or traumas to the body, some of these postures or poses may be harder than others. However, you can't argue the fact that most of us spend too much time in postures that promote poor posture and cause tightness in our shoulders, chest, neck, lower back and especially our hips and groin areas.
Unraveling these hot spots that golfers commonly experience in certain areas can take time but if you learn and practice some simple movements like the yoga poses Zach shows you in this video, over time you can undue some of the damage and/or tightness that you're currently dealing with.
NOTE - the key to all of these postures and poses is the breath. If you don't breathe deeply into your belly using your nostrils to help slow your breathing down, your results will not be as noticeable.
The breath is KEY to all poses and postures in yoga and ultimately KEY to all sports performance. Focusing on your breath will always lead to a calming / relaxing effect allowing your body to get into better positions.

Man, just went thru it! And I thought I was stretching before a round. As a 58, soon to be 59 year young man this will add numbers to my life. Thanks
I use a stand bag when I play a round of golf. It was getting to the point where I was seriously thinking about going to a pull cart, my back was just too sore after a round of golf. Thanks to your videos, I can now play 18 holes with the stand bag, then go and have a full range session afterwards. Great stuff mate! I'm an ex Rugby Union Player, and I thought I would be forever in pain since as I have an anterior compression fracture in my T9 vertebrae, I had resigned myself to having to live with less spinal mobility than I had before the injury. I am pleased to say I actually have MORE flexibility now than I did in the peak of my rugby career! I honestly cannot thank you enough. You have literally changed my life!!!
Wow I was shooting you know an ok 68-72, after watching this video and doing this every day I just broke 60 shooting a 59 on my par 72 course yesterday!
Started doing this once per week, now i'm on four times per week, at 52 years old i feel so much more free and no longer ache after a round. Thank you.
Great job! Keep it up buddy! 💪
Awesome stretches for lower back pain / tight hips and stretching a lot of muscles for those of us who are keyboard warriors at work which cause many imbalances. Good video chaps, not a golfer but once I started watching more of this video it gave me more variations to a lot of my dynamic stretches I already do before I hit the weights. Good duo coach Zee and Bee, good content. God Bless from chilled London UK.
Thank you from balmy FL : )
Great video - I’m an avid golfer off a 0 handicap and this will definitely help me gain some metres!!
Absolutely!
Wish I found this sooner. Has started helping me loosen up some tightness in quads, calves and lower back.
Well at least you finally found it. Hopefully you put it to good use. Thank you
this 10 minute video is great to follow each day. i could feel the blood rushing through my legs and back. thanks!
That’s great to hear! Keep it up, Jason :-)

I'm glad you like it!
very good👍
Thank you! Cheers!
This great for someone in there 30,40 but what about someone around 66 with bad knees
I was able to get a 73-point shot after reading, rehearsing, and performing the methods evident in golf swing tricks , Jοmtοnο Naha (Go ogle it). I also managed to hit 13-18 greens and that was the best one I had ever since I started golfing. I also almost strike the green with a distance of 5 to 10 yards on the other Five holes. 73s is not a natural thing for me because I have a handicap of 9. When I think it over, I haven’t experienced an outstanding round for a long period.

That is not yoga...
