Chastity
What a virtue to be stolen
Tragedy
Has forsaken into fake
Blasphemy
Shadow stripped me of my reason
Misery
Comes to bed with me tonight
What am I gonna do?
And now I can't believe
You let this happen to me
And I can't believe
You(They) put those daggers through me
And I can't believe
You didn't come to save me from my pain
Laughed at me
They hit my face and clutched my rosary
Humility
A lesson best just left alone
Heresy
Because I'm two inside my body
Irony
A child of love from a man I hate
Until my dying day
And now I can't believe
You let this happen to me
And I can't believe
You(They) put those daggers through me
And I can't believe
You didn't come to save me from my pain
Oh no
And now I can't believe
You let this happen to me
And I can't believe
You(They) put those daggers through me
And I can't believe
You didn't come to save me from my pain
Na na na na, na na na na na na
Oh and I can't believe!
You let this happen to me!
And I can't believe!
You put those daggers through me!
And I can't believe!
You didn't come to save me from my pain!
Whoa!
Now I can't believe!
You let this happen to me!
And I can't believe
You put those daggers through me!
And now I can't believe!
You didn't come to save me from my pain!
Didn't come to save me from my pain

“A child of love from a man I hate “ wow that’s deep! No bullshit there!
Holy hell man. This is so 1980s and 1990s hard rock ballad. The music itself makes me think of a combination of Metallica's "One" and Alice In Chains "Confusion."
MetalFreak2000 Can u tell me what genre should this music defined (alt.metal, grunge, alt rock etc.)
Zanu langpu I’d say alternative rock/grunge 🤷🏻♂️
thought i was the only one that heard "one" in this
I absolutely love this song and I ball my eyes out when I listen to it. It's so beautiful.
ball⛹♂
how’d he go from this high of a voice to a fucking demon on Slipknot and Iowa
he's got insane vocal range
love this song
I've never heard Corey sing like this. High, and mostly clear, and nothing like his metal style that I'm more used to. Really, really cool.
So this is that song he was talking about in this video - Slipknot & Stone Sour's Corey Taylor takes over Q101 (WKQX Chicago)

Is this Corey singing?!? He sounds so different!
yes, i believe he is in his twenties here
ivanduk I see what Corey was saying about his voice in this: "I sound like I have no balls and I've been sucking helium for years." XD
@@ivandukyep, depending on when this came out in 1994 he was 20 - 21 more likely 20 though because Corey was born in December 1973
Corey influenced by Sebastian Bach on this one. Love the song.
Corey sounds like Geddy Lee at the last chorus
