12:38 Tina, most restaurants don't use fresh mangoes for mango lassi. They use canned purée and that's why it's probably different. I prefer the fresh version though because it doesn't have as much added sugar.
Also when ever you're cooking any Indian dish make sure to put all the "Khara masala" like clove, cinnamon sticks etc all together right at the beginning after the oil or butter or ghee whatever you're using heats up properly and then add the onions, ginger, and garlic whatever applicable and fry them properly before adding the other ingredients, wherever you follow such a recipe. This adds in significant flavour to the recipe ♥️
First of all and second of all I feel proud and happy that you tried cooking Indian food. Tina you did a good job trying Indian dishes but as a South Indian I want you to try some South Indian dishes too! Your reactions tells everything that how much you loved Indian food. And OMG I loved seeing Lyla try mango lassi and she clapping cutely and giggling liking the lassi. I love her😍❤️🇮🇳
Do not forget to add the onions first next time and fry it properly...Make sure to sprinkle some sugar while the onions fry. It add to the colour and the flavour ♥️
As an Indian watching you making Indian things makes me feels so proud and i been waiting for this 😊i hope you make more recipes and also visit India..sending you lots of love💞 tina💌😽
A very proud moment for me because as an Indian I always wanted you to try some recipes from India and look yesterday, 15 th August was the Indian independence day and today you uploaded these recipes... Thank you. 🇮🇳🇮🇳
I’m Venezuela but I’ve lived in the states for years now and I absolutely looove Indian food. Their food has so much flavor and even when it’s spicy it taste sooo good. This made me very hungry haha You should try Arepas next :)
your reactions to all the food makes me feel proud to be an Indian. you videos just hit me up to the next level. keep doing this amazing job. lots of love from India.........
So happy to see u make Indian food. I am Indian. Don't worry about the extra cumin seeds just make jeera(cumin) rice it's so good very simple to make and good for digestion.
i would love to see you do some Mexican recipes! since you live on the other side of the world I’m unsure if you’ve had authentic Mexican food. You’re going to love it!
Alfred’s taste reaction 7:26 was epic, felt like heaven for him 🤣 can u try pani puri too? I’ve always been curious about how it tastes like. It looks interesting but couldn’t find legit ones here lol
You are getting better and better at cooking with every video Tina. Well done, everything looks delicious.😉 How about a video with grilling recipes, every country has that?
My boyfriend and I love Indian food but I’ve never tried making it. This inspired me to try these recipes-can’t wait to surprise him with this for dinner soon!!
I so wanted you guys to try different dishes than the most commonly popularized one. But here are some of the Indian Dishes you gotta try. (I'm not writing the preparation method since there are a lot bunch of it online. ) Gajar ka halwa : a desert made of carrot. Yogurt Rice: it's a simple dahi/Yogurt smoked with Spices with steamed Rice. This mainly comes from souther part of India. Roti : similar to naan but it's a flat bread and is eaten on daily basis with sabji(veggies) or dal(lentils) instead of Naan which is eaten only on special occasion or very occasionally . Different types of Sabji : basicall it's like cooked veggies or rather sometimes people also call raw Vegetables as Sabji. I hope it's somewhat understandable 😅. Types of sabji: 1) gobhi ki sabji : "gobhi " is cabbage . So it's cabbage sabji 2)Palag ki sabji : "palag" is Spinach. So Spinach sabji 3) bhindi ki sabji: "bhindi" is okhra. So it's basically Okhra sabji. These are some of the food combo which we eat as a Thali at home on regular basis to avoide the indigestion that most foreigner get because they only eat the foods which is eaten mostly for special occasion or if you crave for it or something like that but not on daily basis. Try searching for homemade style veg thali or non veg thali . You will know what i mean.
Hi Tina, you guys did a great job with the Indian food. I think the issue with the lassi was that you did not add enough milk. Can you try making a few dishes from Mauritius? X
Although WE (Pakistanis and Indians) have almost same kind of food but I've never tried butter chicken , it seems like karahi without butter . I would love to try it ❤
lol dw as far as I know no indian actually eats this at home so its a solely restaurant type food. Plus it was sort of invented for british but do try it out and let me know how it tastes
I love Indian food..I guess I'll make something next week too. ...and just for the funzies, do you wanna try Hungarian cuisine next time? (just because I don't think people know much about it) - but lángos isn't hard to make at home, madártej is easy too...and chicken paprikasch is also an easy staple
The type of food they eat is just like you can have it once or twice in a week just for new flavors and fun but these Indian, Pakistani and Turkish dishes are a Full Proper happy meal for the stomach ❤️❤️we are blessed that we eat these foods everyday..it's sooo good !! 🔥🔥😍
I love every video of you guys and this video means a lot cuz I'm from South India 🇮🇳🇮🇳 . I simply love your video style, truly refreshing and creative ❤❤❤❤❤ lots of love from South India🇮🇳🇮🇳
Mango lassi tastes better with tinned sweetened mango pulps you can buy from Asian grocery shops, try brands like Kesar. Then add your yogurt, and a little milk if you don't want it to too thick.
I liked how you made it but I would like to suggest u that while making Indian curries don’t add any masala until the oil in extremely hot and add tomatoes only after ur onion has turned golden brown or you can see oil separating from the onion or masalas
Definitely do try more recipes of India India is full of flavours It will be worth it making more Indian recipes specially Northern and Southern recipes Definitely Tina do try those You'll love it

I don't know where u r from, but in india (mumbai), fresh mangoes are always used in mango lassi

What sugar doing onions no way!! That sounds wrong to me
It’ll help with the caramelization. That’s how caramelization of onions work in general as you’re browning the sugar in the onion
Yayyyyy!!! You trying Indian food recipes is the best thing ever!💗

Squeeze a bit of lemon in the chana masala and it would make it bomb (Also, I think the chana masala mix you put in, 1 tsp might be a bit less)
