I am Lebanese so hummus is our almost everyday dish , for the texture you should boil it more till it become so soft and don,t put it in the fridge ❤❤ love you and ur channel
I’m from Palestine and hummus is one of the most popular dishes in Palestine, I have just a small comment about the hummus is that you must blend in when it’s hot so it will be smoother overall everything was perfect. Love this series and I love you and your videos so much 🥰❤❤❤
Lebanese Fattoush and Taboule are to die for! They're so delicious and healthy you should definitely try making taboule as well it's so easy. I'm glad you discovered the pomegranate molasses it literally makes everything better!! A tip: youu should try putting it on the shawarma wrap as well it elevates it sooo muchh!
@@uhm175 ???? It's literally a salad with lemon and olive oil dressing without any cheese and you can put any kind of vegetables in it how is it not healthy just because it has some oil fried bread crumbs on top? you can air fry them or put them in the oven I dk what you're talking about lol
Great video as always! Love everything from The Golden Balance. Also my family adds olive oil and garlic to hummus while blitzing the chickpeas, also looks like you needed to boil the chickpeas for longer until they become super soft (my family also never adds ice cubes idk what those do) hope this helps ❤️
@@carliemarlieetea most commonly are leaves of plant(Camellia sinensis plant) that's dried and then crushed to make drinks.......it's used in many ways and when someone says mint tea mostly it would mean that it's just crushed tea leaves that are flavoured with mint. Hope that helped

Making Hummus can be easier! Just buy pre boiled chickpeas (canned) wash it. Blend it with some icecubes .. traditional Hummus is always made with lemons salt garlic and tahini … ♥️
You did so well Tina! Good job! Hummus is the best when garlic is in it. I always get the roasted garlic hummus from the store. It’s my absolute favorite. I’m for sure gonna make hummus now.

I think doing different kinds of breads from around the world would be fun - like fairy bread from Australia, soda bread from Ireland, that kind of thing
I apologise in advance if I'm "ruining the vibe" of anyone who's reading this comment. I just want to say that I wasn't exactly feeling good lately, especially in the last week or so. But watching this 15:45 minutes video really helped. not necessarily because it's about food and featuring my favourite sandwich/wrap, since my childhood 😅. It's just the fact that you guys look genuinely like you're having fun with each other as well as with your audience without coming across as obnoxious or with exaggerated reactions , like what UA-cam is seemingly interested in recommending to everyone these days. All the videos for the last three months or so that I've seen that aren't obnoxious or with exaggerated reactions that I've seen the thumbnail and title for (never mind actually watching them) have been on the serious side. even if not all of these videos were super serious, with little to no fun aspect in them, but still. So to see a fun video with a nice title and thumbnail and the video itself is pleasant and on top of that, it has a delicious shawarma in it. I just want to say thank you, I really mean it.
An iraqi winter food that also uses chick-peas is lablaby (لبلبي) which is boiling the peas until not broken, but could easily BE broken, then all you do after that is put some into a bowl and add as much lemon juice and salt as you want! (Tip: add lentils for a good consistency!)
Hummus does have olive oil and garlic in it when you’re mixing like 3 cloves of garlic. That girl only mixed chickpea and water and tahini! Also if you don’t want it to be flaky either peel all the chickpeas before blending or add a bit baking soda to it while cooking in the water.
I'd like you to try either traditional Italian food or Eastern European because heritage. I'm interested to know what you think of many of the dishes as I was raised on both.
You just cooked a perfect Lebanese lunch. we usually add a ball of fries and something cold to drink and perfect! You should try more traditional lebanese food like Taboule and Kebe maybe mjadara?!! And about the pomegranate molasses its a very well known Lebanese sauce we make it ourselves actually veryy cool process and way better than store bought. Try it with some meat it's to die for.
