Moms and grandmas being universally immune to hot oil is still the most baffling thing to me, I swear my grandma basically dips her fingers into the oil, meanwhile I’m wearing oven mitts and a pan lid as a shield anytime I have to fry something 😂
pfft probably something to do with women historically being punished in cruel ways and burnt for being ‘witches’ when they did something that men didn’t like…😳
It’s so nice to hear you speaking Vietnamese with your mom and make Vietnamese food! Em theo dõi chị Tina bao nhiêu năm nay mà giờ mới biết mẹ chị và chị nói tiếng việt với nhau smooth như vậy luôn áh ❤️ thanks for making Vietnamese food and sharing it to everyone ❤️
Your mom is soooooo adorable, she is so lovely too!! Btw, I love the way your voice suddenly change to be cuter whenever you speak in vietnamese, just like a little sweet girl talking with her mom 😍
I've been watching you since you had like 40k subscribers, seeing you grow and have millions of us who love you makes me proud of you. Hope you grow more and more, love you.❤
I just found your channel and I am obsessed! After a long day of teaching 2nd grade, coming home to relax and watch a few of your cooking videos has been 😌👌🏼
Mama Huong is so beautiful! She looks so lovely in pink flowers. I'm so happy she wanted to be a part of your video and that she got all dolled up for it. I'd love to see her in more. Beautiful mother - daughter relationship. ❤
Hey, i'm Vietnamese and i'm from Hà Nội, i was kinda shock that your mom was Viet too, thank you for trying foods popular in Hà Nội, you totally nailed it looks amazing
Your mum is so cute! 😊 And the recipes look so delicious, especially the first one - I have to try them out if I can find all the ingredients here in Switzerland, which will be hard I think 🙈
Omg your mom is just adorable 😩I really enjoy watching you try these viral recipes and her reactions just made it so much more special, love this and we need more with Momma Huong ❤
Em xem chị để vừa xem đc nấu ăn, vừa luyện nghe tiếng Anh. Mà nay đc nghe tiếng Việt, thấy zui quá chừnggg. Mong chị làm thêm nhiều video với mẹ nhaaaa ❤
always love your cooking video and this one is indeed great too!! i love the way you cook with your mum, that's so sweet! all the love for you and your family tina
Watching you interact with your mum is so lovely, loved her giving you side eye when you said it could be better than her recipe 😅 reminds me of all the times I drove my mum crazy in the kitchen and made me miss her a lot so thanks for bringing back some very happy memories with this video ❤
Nailing thịt kho is like the ultimate level of being Vietnamese. It’s universal, doesn’t matter if you’re from the North, Central, or the South. Thịt kho unites Vietnam 😂
I have watched your make up videos that you speak Vietnamese, but your Vietnamese in this video is a wow to me, you use a lot of slangs and local language from the South. Like "cổ, chơi luôn" not a lot of people can do that and you have a very southern accent from your mom, sounds like born and raised in Vietnam. keep it up Tina 😊😊
Aww I just love this video, I come from a large family, 11 of us! I spend a lot of time hanging out with my mom, learning as much while watching her cook, its awesome! Kudos to moms!
This is the magic of salt, one of the reasons you add at least a pinch to almost everything, even your cookie batter. When used right, salt is a game changer!
The lady in the video you watched added black pepper after adding the coconut soda so that's where the black pepper was. lol Added last for some reason.
I'm Australian and of italian heritage. Every italo-australian household has catering sized aluminium foil, glad wrap and baking paper! It's a migrant thing. 😂
I love your mom! She's adorable! I love how you talk to each other, sounds like my mom and I ! ❤ My parents are from South of Vietnam as well 😍😍 Glad your mom liked the bun Cha Hanoï, love this dish! Will definitely gonna try the recipe!!
The face you made when trying the sauce for the chicken wings GOT ME! I was crying laughing, I had to rewatch that part about 10 times and each time I laughed harder! 😂 ❤
I just got back from Ho Chi Minh and the food was so yum! I definitely want to go back to explore more of Vietnam because it was so beautiful and everyone was so friendly! And I agree Tina haha my Indian mum definitely seems to be immune to oil splatters 😂😂
You three are so funny, funny as in I laughed with you, not at you! I loved that film; all of the recipes had my tummy rumbling. Thank you for making me smile.
I’m Thai and my family has always used a pinch of salt as our secret ingredient for elevating our Thai tea so I had no doubt that salt made that Viet coffee delectable😋
Bun cha is my favourite dish of all time. Out of everything i’ve ever eaten, that one meal of bun cha i had in hanoi is sometimes the only thing that keeps me going lol just the prospect of getting to eat it there again
In Germany, back in the days were we had coffee maschines and not those thingies with capsules or pads, we used to put a pinch of salt into the grounded coffee for flavour.
Those Teflon Fingers are universal to all us Mums I think?! I regularly pull stuff out of ovens and from frying, with no issues... 😂 Yours are probably on back-order, now you're a Mum too...
It's insane, how smooth you and your mom talking to each other with so much love and joy
WHY IS TINA SO CUTE WHEN SHE SPEAKS IN VIETNAMESE
HER ENTIRE AURA JUST CHANGED
IT'S ADORABLEEEE
it's probably because my vietnamese level is equivalent to a 10 year old 😆
@@tina_yong TBH im viet living in aus but i dont think your vietnamese is that bad!!
ikr
Moms and grandmas being universally immune to hot oil is still the most baffling thing to me, I swear my grandma basically dips her fingers into the oil, meanwhile I’m wearing oven mitts and a pan lid as a shield anytime I have to fry something 😂
LOL the pan shield is the best!

Salt helps cancel out the bitter flavor of strong coffee and bring out the sweetness of the condensed milk
Your mom is freaking g adorable ❤ love her reaction with the coffee. Love hearing you both talk.
When your mum had the coffee and started giggling 😂 she is so cute 😂
The lady in the video you watched added black pepper after adding the coconut soda so that's where the black pepper was. lol Added last for some reason.

u should replace the milk by salted whipped cream... it's actually the way vietnamese people do and it's reallyyyyy yummy
Interesting! I’ll try it out thanks!
@@tina_yong But don't whip the cream too hard just around 30-40 seconds
