    Thanks for the vid.
    The little flashy thing is called a, "flicker."
    Thus the name.
    They've been added to lures and leaders for decades. Pretty cool they're still around.

    Carolina rig with a spinner (and the beads). C-rig works wonders for everything! Except I rarely catch Sand Bass with the super salty squid. Sand sharks and sting rays are most common over here for me.

  • @maremduc

    I’ve been using this rig for a while, and I highly recommend this to anyone fishing who fishes for panfish in the Chesapeake bay.

      It works really well in the Chesapeake! Good suggestion

    • @maremduc
      @maremduc 6 років тому

      Senko Skipper If you buy all the components for this rig: spinner blades, clevises, beads, and hooks in bulk, you save a lot money and can make big quantities of this rig in advance for cheap.

    Oh I'm not so sure about the snap swivel. It's better if you use just a barrel swivel because snap swivels are weak in general. They are used for attaching sinkers primarily

    If you drop that in without reeling you will catch tons of them still a better way to catch those is a tiny piece of worm, grub ,meal worm with a tiny vertical jig.. we in canada don't even call that catching fish what your doing is wat we let the kids do to keep them off your back while you hunt walleye with a bigger blade and double hooks with a full worm and a heavy 1- 1 1/2 ounce pencil that you can bomb out there

    • @mopledger2314
      @mopledger2314 4 роки тому

      Its a flashy thing. Oh I forgot. They have been referred to as spinners by everyone since sport fishing started. When he never used the term that everyone uses and more than once called it a little metal thing and a little flashy thing, kinda lost credibility with me. And you don't need a little flashy thing to catch spots and croakers on the bottom in a bay. If you have food on the hook, and there are any around, you'll get tired of catching them. lol
