After you asked that question, I was quite curious myself, so I scoured the web, but I can't find a damn thing on him or really anything about the Retro years at all. It's funny, watching the show for more than 30+ years. OMG!!! They never mentioned his name once, In fact, I don't even think I heard him speak once! LOL! So I haven't the foggiest!!!
Loved my 1992 5 speed LS Sedan back in the day. My gas mileage was similar and disappointing. Everything else was great, especially the balance that the longitudinally mounted engine provided. I really wasn’t so serious when I test drove it but after the salesman suggested to push it hard through a sharp curve, I was hooked and bought it.
Today this second-generation Acura Legend coupe is considered one of the very best of the luxury sports cars of the 90s era. One of Acura's best all-time automobiles!
I wanted one so bad when I was a teenager too, in the 90s. Back in say, 95, there was a guy in the next town over who had a white coupe on gold rims. It was insane! Id drive it to this day.
@@arieljones7757Believe it or not I had a 91 white coupe. At age 20. I had made a bet with my father that if I maintained a B average in college he would get me whatever car I wanted. I already had an 88 Pontiac formula. 😎 I won and got this car. I was like a mini nsx of it's time. My father bought a Lexus SC400 all decked out in gold and it was beautiful. His quad cam V8 sounded much better but the Acura was better built. Those times seem so much better!🤔😉😇 Met John at SEMA one year when I was working at a car magazine in the advertising Department. He's the GOAT!😎
3:48 please the name of this guy ? On most motorweek videos from 1991 to 1995

BTW He had a great gig back then at his age! I would have killed for that job...

Hes 79 years old today and is still alive. What a Legend. Pun definitely intended
Love my 1991 Acura Legend L automatic coupe with 41,000 miles!
Love these! 90's Honda's, their high water mark
I love this Acura Legend
What a car this was. Love it. Then they blew it.
Very beautiful, classy car.
I like how the rear side windows are movable..
Came here to say the same lol
Yeah, but imagine that car without B pillar and fully moveable windows, just like the Mercedes Coupes from that era.

I had one of these, actually a really good car!
I'd love to own one of these.
Had a 93 accord as my first car. Now a 17 civic. Both basic trims and yet. Hondas quality is not the same as fine as fit and finish with refinement.

Gotta love the silly expressions on Motorweek - they're like One Hit Wonders
This car cost over $80K in today's money. Evidence that cars have gone down in price, since no Acura costs nearly that much today.
Luxury Vehicles aren't what they used to be 😔
does every Japanese car review they do complain about volt meter and oil pressure gauges....
