First time I heard someone say lower branches not receiving light are more likely to herm out. I finally found some hems and they seem to all be down low out of the light.
A buddy of mine told me to take those branches. Get them cloned/rooted. Throw them in 1 gallon/2gallon pots. Let them grow 2 weeks into the pot and then flip. I started doing this and off of 2 plants I’ll get 8-12 clones that produce. Just another way to use those branches.
So if you don't use a SCROG net this can be even more important. Don't let your plants touch the soil except the trunk. And don't let them droop down away from the light. I just went back to a disposable SCROG. I used an elastic reusable one last time and it was a real pain in the a$$ to harvest. I'll be chopping up the net when I harvest from now on. Seems like pulling the branches through the holes really beats up the buds.
GT I'm harvesting my first grow of Woo Berry tonight and man let me tell you she is pretty! I've never seen flower with so many colors and so sticky. I can't wait to smoke it in a month or so 😂 thanks brother
I don't recommend keeping them in your 2x4 Tent for long periods. 1 plant started having issues. Just my experience. I keep it in my lung room.and if I see anything moving flying or in soil. I put it in for 24 hour's. They last 4 months and is working great. As I live on a farm and have alot of flies. So flies in my house don't go near the door to my grow room. Excellent product.
Hello Mr. Grow Tent, nice Videos! You have a lot of knowledge and i was wondering if you have had any Input and Observations about this Topic in the past : Have you grown plants that have been ready for harvest way before the Flowering Timeline given by the Seedbank/Breeder? And if so, are there possible reasons for that happening? Maybe a very optimal Veg-Phase that shortens the Flowering of a plant for example?
Would supplemental lighting, such as AC Infinity's etc. cause the lower branches to grow like those above? Or still be a waste to grow? Supplemental light can probably prevent herming of the lower branches? Thanks, good ideas.
Any thing not making it all the way up always got removed from my plants and thusly I revive the side branches to main branches and substantial amount of tops.
you said that if you don't taker care of the lower branches correctly they can ruin the entire grow I don't follow you on that comment can you explain please.
you also said that the lower branches can seed out please explain that to me that was a very important comment to me and It needs explaining to me please help me on this one.48pzdoffcatz CO JOE thats me

you said that if you don't taker care of the lower branches correctly they can ruin the entire grow I don't follow you on that comment can you explain please.
If the lower branches herm and you don't catch it in time, it can pollinate your tent.
you also said that the lower branches can seed out please explain that to me that was a very important comment to me and It needs explaining to me please help me on this one.48pzdoffcatz CO JOE thats me
See above. Herms can pollinate the whole tent, in which case your plants will devote their energy to making seeds, not flowers.
