I had no idea Hamtaro had any “Lost media” at any point. That’s awesome because I love this show so much as it’s my childhood. Even though it was just a rumor, it was nice to see here.
If you think that's interesting, there actually was another bit of Hamtaro lost media that was not only proven to ACTUALLY exist, but was eventually found and archived online! It was a one-episode failed pitch for a different Hamtaro series that predated the more famous one, that the studio gave copies of to the animators that worked on it to keep. It's a fascinating peek into what the Hamtaro anime could have been in an alternate timeline where ShoPro didn't produce it!

I actually found a website where I was able to watch episodes from a lesser know show from when I was younger. "Walter Melon", a show about a substitute hero for hire. Each episode was a parody of a tv show or movie, and had Walter and his sidekick Bitterbug filling in for the protagonists. Sadly, not all of the episodes are on this site. I distinctly remember an episode parodying TMNT. I don't know if it's from a second season or not, but I know Ive seen it at least twice on tv backnin the day. They made a joke about Walter taking too long to decide what kind of pizza he wanted, and Bitterbug whispering to him that their waiter fell asleep waiting. Has anyobe else seen this show/ episode?
Hey, that's cool, that's my post at the end there. I'm Stintergalactic over there on the lmw message boards. I think there's one more crucial thing to mention about the Beebiss mystery. After the post that was featured in this video, we were also able to get ahold of Robert. He was not interested in discussing this. So there's not much more that's likely to be found out.
Kirby: Right Back At Ya would sometimes change its titles late in production, but the early title would still sometimes find its way on stuff. Like "Here Comes the Son" was usually called "Kirby's Battle With the Son" on TV listings. I assume that's exactly what happened with the Hamtaro episode, since "The Warm Scarf-capade" sounds way too much like a localized title to a direct translation of the Japanese title.

There actually is a "lost episode" of Hamtaro, or rather one that got skipped over in dubbing due to the plot being something lost in translation. It was a Setsubun Festival special called "Scatter the Beans, Scare the Ogres" and is the true 83rd episode. It's honestly baffling that this would be skipped over considering that there were episodes made for Hinamatsuri and the Japanese Children's Day, Episodes 35 and 95 (or 96 technically) respectively, and there were even dubs for that episode in other languages. I'd cite a source but UA-cam might automatically delete my comment for linking to another site.
I think that's kind of a shame that the AAAHH!!! Real movie was never really thing as I would've liked to have seen how the writers would've ended the show with said movie if it was real. The fact that the official SpongeBob SquarePants UA-cam channel actually has all the Astrology With Squidward shorts in 1 compilation video proves that not all 12 Zodiac Signs were ever made (even though I wish they did, that would've been awesome), so I have no idea why some people would still doubt this. 4:39 how exactly can something be the reason behind the movie being cancelled if you also say that there were no plans to make it that’s like me saying “I was gonna buy that but it was too expensive although I never planned on buying it”
ARM!!! never had the popularity when put beside other Klasky-Csupo shows at the time *cough*Rugrats*cough*. Beyond the three theatrical films they made, there was only a couple telemovies for Rocket Power.
The problem with the AAAAH Real Monsters rumor is that it does sound like something Nickelodeon would do. And let's not forget "TV movie" can mean anything from feature length to a double length episode. I can see them making a 2-3 part episode and calling it a movie, since that is something they've done quite often. Look at Fairly Oddparents, especially when they hit DVD release and had "the movie" slapped on the title. Where it sounds completely suspect are the terms "series finale" and the fact that it was a year after the show quit production. Nick was heavily into thinking their kid audience was stupid enough to believe if a show doesn't have a proper finale when it ends, new episodes will magically pop up in reruns t the time. Same reason Bye Bye Beavers never got made. Also, at that point, Nick was basically treating Monsters as a redheaded stepchild of Klasky Csupo series with Rugrats being over-exposed and other KC shows in the pipeline. Not so much pretending it didn't exist, but it didn't see the same amount of love it once had when it was in production. If anything, I'd believe a "movie" being made inbetween seasons, not as an ending, especially one done after everyone was reassigned to different projects.
I wonder if that rumor is true that Nintendo hated 4kids' dubs, thus GP Legend's sudden cancellation aside from low ratings. There may never be a chance for it to be re-released. We may never get those 38 missing episodes from that rumor video you posted. Nor the 3 that were left unrecorded. @@dengeki3414 The Pokemon Company, IIRC, is 1/3rd Nintendo ownership. 1/3rd further is Game Freak, and 1/3rd further is Shopro. While the combined forces of Nintendo and Game Freak may not necessarily enough for them to unilaterally make a decision like an uncut dub, it does give them significant veto power. Therefore, if Nintendo hated 4Kids' dub style, they wouldn't continue it's trends in the post-4Kids Pokemon dub. We'd logically have a Pokemon dub that, at the least, doesn't cut out the original sound score or liberally change the script. Think old Dragon Ball Z vs. Z Kai in regards to how different it should sound. Also, the fact of the matter is, nothing rights-wise is stopping Nintendo from going back and getting, say, FUNi or Sentai FIlmworks to do a new uncut dub of F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu. I know F-Zero fans have a bitter pill to swallow with this, but the series quite frankly was not profitable and never had a chance of a mass-market success simply because F-Zero is a niche brand to begin with.
If you were to create the other "supposed" zodiac shorts which Bikini bottom characters do you think would fit the signs that weren't shown on the real shorts series?
15:12-21:48 Another copyright trap that DidYouKnowGaming? covered was from Jeff Rovin, who alleged that a "secret chocolate factory" level in the original Super Mario Bros. existed when he wrote his book series known as How to Win at Video Games.
"Frederick Zowski" probably meant "It wasn't dark" because they weren't even planning to make it in the first place, how can a movie be "dark" if it doesn't exist? That's what I'm taking from it at least.
I feel like Yeah Yeah Beebis I is simply a mistranslation of a real Japanese game title. I can't find any titles that could be produced about that time, but I'm starting to think it was a mistranslation. My theory is that it was simply a cheap mistranslation, perhaps published as a bootleg release of a Famicom game for the English language NES. Japanese developers made a ton of action-platform games like that in the day. My check is this. A possible developer would be a company like Hudson Soft. Hudson Soft is a Japanese developer that was sold to Konami and their most famous franchise was Bomberman. It's possible that Hudson Soft wanted to make a game that was similar to Castlevania (ironically given that Castlevania was made by Konami) and that game would have likely had an awkward title. It's possible that Forest Hills Used Game Cartridges tried to branch out and make a new title, and ended up localizing a cheap title that was developed by Hudson Soft and published by some cheap Japanese game publisher. Hence Play It Again putting this game in its listing. I said Castlevania type because the game looked like it had a vampire image on the cover, leading me to wonder if it wasn't an attempt at a Castlevania rip-off.
hilarious news, on the nintendo switch eshop there's a game called Yeah Yeah Beebiss 2, which is made to be a mythical sequel to the game that never was.
Actually in the thread, one person suggested a Pac-Man clone, and I myself thought it might have been a baseball game cuz "beebiss" is phonetically close to baseball, not to mention a ton of baseball games came out in 1989. One being called Yakyuu Ban, but there's no proof this game was going to be translated. I'm interested in why you think Hudson Soft though, I kept suggesting Tengen but IDK probably not them.
How can you steal a mail order list? You'd only profit if you steal all their inventory. Not to mention that it means the company that made it can't be relied upon for accurate information. It's a waste of work to answer calls regarding a non-existent game.
Why was it thought so unlikely that Yeah Yeah Beebiss I is a copyright trap? These are super common actually; they often occurred in dictionaries and thesaurii, to be sure that nobody else was copying their text. It even happened in board games like Trivial Pursuit, in fact that's how they caught an unauthorized book of riddles/brain teasers that copied from the game. And with weird titled games out there from the era like Bubble Bobble, Mother, Cool Spot, Donkey Kong, and Yo Noid to name a few, I'm not surprised that something named "Yeah Yeah Beebiss I" would have passed muster, not being seen as the obvious copyright trap we might think it is now.
(Reposting this because I didn't realize UA-cam deletes comments that link to other sites) I might actually be able to clear up some of the confusion around the Ahhhh! Real Monsters movie. Way back in late 2004 to mid 2005 (before the site was bought out and turned into TV dot com), there was a user on the TV Tome forums by the username of Nethersparky. Nethersparky had a fansite dedicated to the Beetlejuice cartoon, Ahhhh! Real Monsters and eventually Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. On this site, Nethersparky had written an Ahhhh! Real Monsters fan-script for a movie titled "The Search for the Gromble" (or something to that effect). My theory is that someone saw the script, thought it was real and just kinda ran with it. (TV Tome users weren't the brightest TBH) I can't remember the name of Nethersparky's site and the TV dot com forums aren't archived by the Wayback Machine, but TV Tome's old boards might be. You may be able to find the source with a bit of digging.
in tiny toons during the episode with the name game I thought there was a part either at the end of the song or right before one of the "talking" parts of the song where plucky says It's my turn now ( he is in the center of the screen) but before he can even start the entire cast (appearing from all around him from just off screen ) and shouts "NO!" before they sheepishly cut to Babs to continue the song. I've looked on my copy of the dvd but this isn't there. Is it real? or did I make it up. ( I know why Plucky can't play the name game, but at that age I don't think I would have made up this cutaway.. but maybe I'm not giving myself enough credit?)
In the quote by Frederick zowski, although likely untrue, he’s saying “the film wasn’t dark, nor were they planning on making it ‘dark’ in the first place. I don’t get why LSSQ couldn’t read it that way but that’s what the quote is saying.
with the Ahhh Real Monsters story. Doesn't Nickelodeon have a policy about giving shows a proper finale. Wan't that the reason for the last Angry Beavers episode getting cancelled?
Sure there is a lot of lost media. But does anyone know the true amount that was lost. What about the stuff that faded from the collective memory. Something that was truly gone.
i don't get why everyone was so desperate to dismiss the fake listing beebis theory, like it requires far less reaching than any of the others, is it just because it sounds so mundane?

Hey I got one! I've been searching for this Rugrats episode that I can say 100% aired on tv when I was 8 on Nickleodeon in 2003. It had adults voicing the babies in what sounded like a live studio audience. I believe there was a laughing audience as well? I distinctively remember putting it on when my one cousin visited, and my sister told me to change it because of the adult jokes they were making. Been trying to find it to see for myself if they actually said anything weirdly suggestive or if she was just saying that to get me to change the channel. (Pretty sure it was The Art Fair episode)

@@cabbusses wtf is a shopro
If you were to create the other "supposed" zodiac shorts which Bikini bottom characters do you think would fit the signs that weren't shown on the real shorts series?
Actually I think the Fredrick quote means that paramount wanted the movie made but the people working on the show didn't want to make a movie
When he said the quote was confusing, I thought he’d mention that the film was cancelled despite not being planned for production in the first place
That’s what confused me too
14:48 - hey it's my comment, cool
15:12-21:48 Another copyright trap that DidYouKnowGaming? covered was from Jeff Rovin, who alleged that a "secret chocolate factory" level in the original Super Mario Bros. existed when he wrote his book series known as How to Win at Video Games.
I thought this said “disturbing” in the title and got so excited at first lol
He should make that!
"Frederick Zowski" probably meant "It wasn't dark" because they weren't even planning to make it in the first place, how can a movie be "dark" if it doesn't exist? That's what I'm taking from it at least.
GIMME GIMME THE MOVIE OF THE AHHHH REAL MONSTERS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe it was never made so it was canceled by default.
True, but that's still an odd way to phrase that.
Why is no one talking about zowski being an obvious monster inc reference
@@thesunisflatorganization You know zowski is a real surname right
I feel like Yeah Yeah Beebis I is simply a mistranslation of a real Japanese game title.
The Warm Scarf Capade made me think super hard about this GBC / GBA Hamtaro game i had. I swear that had to have been a part of it.
How can you steal a mail order list? You'd only profit if you steal all their inventory. Not to mention that it means the company that made it can't be relied upon for accurate information. It's a waste of work to answer calls regarding a non-existent game.
The best Yeah Yeah beebis one theory is that it’s yo noid
(Reposting this because I didn't realize UA-cam deletes comments that link to other sites)
I might actually be able to clear up some of the confusion around the Ahhhh!
(TV Tome users weren't the brightest TBH)
I can't remember the name of Nethersparky's site and the TV dot com forums aren't archived by the Wayback Machine, but TV Tome's old boards might be.
You may be able to find the source with a bit of digging.
love this series keep it up
happy to say your channel is apart of my childhood/
What about the footage of the ghost activity from the sunnyvale toys r us ?
That would be cool to see agine.
This is great stuff. Man.
A really cool video and your intro looks very awesome
16:18 Funny, I was gonna mention this game to you when I noticed Ya Ya Beebiss in the thumbnail of this video, but you're way ahead of me XD
have you heard about the lost backyardigins pilot there was just some new picures found for it
I wish you had commited to scream at the first part of "AAHH! Real Monsters" every time you mentioned the name.
in tiny toons during the episode with the name game I thought there was a part either at the end of the song or right before one of the "talking" parts of the song where plucky says It's my turn now ( he is in the center of the screen) but before he can even start the entire cast (appearing from all around him from just off screen ) and shouts "NO!" before they sheepishly cut to Babs to continue the song. I've looked on my copy of the dvd but this isn't there. Is it real? or did I make it up. ( I know why Plucky can't play the name game, but at that age I don't think I would have made up this cutaway.. but maybe I'm not giving myself enough credit?)
Pretty sure you dreamed that. I remember hoping theyd do Plucky and they didnt. I ws so disappointed
Astrology with squidward is a nightmare memory for me. As a child i always hated when animation was slightly off the original show.
Picky ass 😭 /silly billy
First time I watched this, about 5 minutes in, I forgot I was watching LSuperSonicQ.
In the quote by Frederick zowski, although likely untrue, he’s saying “the film wasn’t dark, nor were they planning on making it ‘dark’ in the first place. I don’t get why LSSQ couldn’t read it that way but that’s what the quote is saying.
Babe wake up, new LSSQ lost media video just uploaded
Can you review the Wow Wow Wubbzy episode "Widget gets the Blooey Blues"
with the Ahhh Real Monsters story. Doesn't Nickelodeon have a policy about giving shows a proper finale. Wan't that the reason for the last Angry Beavers episode getting cancelled?
Talking about lost media, do you know anything about a game called "Nikita" for the PS1?
Thanks for this
I remember watching some of these they were so unreal
Wait if we make yeah yeah beebiss 1, is it no longer lost media since it exists now.
Could be
I've been watching a ton of Hamtaro recently
Where's the sound (edit sound is working now)
yeah yeah beebis 1 not existing makes me so sad
Sure there is a lot of lost media. But does anyone know the true amount that was lost. What about the stuff that faded from the collective memory. Something that was truly gone.
Why everyone is commenting, there no sound? I can hear it
wow, been into lost media since 2018 remember these
i don't get why everyone was so desperate to dismiss the fake listing beebis theory, like it requires far less reaching than any of the others, is it just because it sounds so mundane?
nice video, btw i think "ep29" is real.
idk if thats actually the name or not, but a few of the details i have heard about it i do remember, while other details seem to be muddied by eps with somewhat similar mainplots.
If Yeah Yeah Beebiss really was a joke title made up by this Robert guy, then I wonder if he knows how far his silly joke went, and how he feels about being one of the biggest trolls ever.
Considering how long ago it was and how off the grid he is, he very likely has no idea.
@@cabbusses Oh he's definitely aware. We were able to contact him, and he was not interested in answering questions.
@@welovemrp00 Maybe he still thinks of this as a trade secret? Not that I'm sure how relevant it is...
How the fuck is a copyright trap less believable than some insane sounding gibberish translated from Japanese game that was only mentioned twice? You got a few screws loose.
It wasn't as believable because 1 a second company put it in their list and 2 it may not even be possible to copyright a list
Yeah so I uploaded seasons 1-4 of Hamtaro on my page. I was gonna buy seasons 5 on ebay but it was sold out.
when is the next spirit quest
Please, it was so cool
The real beebis were the friends we made along the way
Sound is fine besties
Has there been any discussion of the fact that Beebis is out of alphabetical order? I suppose it's a point in favor of deliberate fake...
Is this a reupload? , why I felt I watch this video before.
your channel makes an appearance in a didyouknowgaming video :D nifty
Kid at 17:23 has the Norman Osborne haircut.
does anyone have a song list of the music used in the video? thanks
There was a vidoegame in 1989 called Xenophobe?
15:30 I thought you where gonna say Polybius
ooh I thought the anime Oruchuban Ebichu was Hamtaro lost media
Hey I got one! I've been searching for this Rugrats episode that I can say 100% aired on tv when I was 8 on Nickleodeon in 2003. It had adults voicing the babies in what sounded like a live studio audience. I believe there was a laughing audience as well? I distinctively remember putting it on when my one cousin visited, and my sister told me to change it because of the adult jokes they were making. Been trying to find it to see for myself if they actually said anything weirdly suggestive or if she was just saying that to get me to change the channel. (Pretty sure it was The Art Fair episode)
try going to r/helpmefind or r/tipofmytongue :)
@@skies5350 I’ve used that on Reddit once to find an old PC game called Hover! I searched so many different key words on google and there is absolutely nothing.
I’ll make a post. I’m unsure if that’s the episode or not. I just remember there was a part where Angelica had the kids all in a room and the person voicing her was saying something along the lines of “now that I got all you babies alone in this room” or something.
*_YEAH YEAH BEEBISS II_* ????
what is that zeta gundamn game listed in the yea yea beebis 1 page, that's what cached my eye. lol
Hey superSonicLQ I got some lost media that isn't not well known it's the pilot of nature cat you probably never even heard of nature cat is a newer show on PBS kids not recent but in the 2010s I didn't see a big search for it so can you make more notice on it please
Yeah Yeah Beebis sounds like Bimblar Unleashed

Nike logo, LOL.
It's Movie Tome, not Movie To Me.
