I honestly don't think you should have the Kekcroc shirt up on your merch store as it is now. Nicholas Fedorov created Kekcroc and I don't think he'd be privy to someone using his render of a character he created for profit. I know he's not on the internet anymore, but I think there should be a different artist's interpretation of Kekcroc.

I’m almost entirely sure the “Ed, Edd, Y Eduardo” thing was made for a foster’s home special called “good wilt hunting” because I definitely remember seeing something like that around thanksgiving 2006. If good wilt hunting has a DVD release, there’s a strong possibility that it’s an extra on that DVD.

I could've sworn it was made for the Billy & Mandy / KND crossover. The credits of that special featured art of various fake crossovers such as "Samurai Mac" and "My Gym Partner's a Mandark", so I guess I mistakenly believed that short was used to promote the special.

The “Ed Edd y Eduardo” thing WAS in fact just a bumper. I think it was around the infamous “Yes” era that came after the CN City era. But yeah it was just Eduardo pasted in over an EEnE clip. And then it ended with some line like “why mess with what works” or something.

I also remember it being during the "Yes!" era. Like it was defintely after the CN City era. But not quite Noodz era. During that time CN was still pretty experimental like in CN City but they definitely were going through a rebrand with a simpler "rule of cool"-esque kinda style during the Yes! Era and there were quite a few pretty obscure shorts and bumps that would come out here and there, thought I was gassing myself into remembering Ed, Edd and Eduardo but but no I def remember it. Eduardo only spoke spanish iirc.

Here's an interesting lost media topic if anyone's bored enough to pursue it: In either January or February of 2007, Cartoon Network ran a special promotion called "Monkey Monday", in which it aired nothing but monkey themed episodes for a full day. They made unique bumpers for it and everything. I tried asking the LMW about it, and while they were able to confirm that it was real, no one could find the bumpers.

I'm from Chile, but the ''cat news thing'' rings a bell. I kinda remember watching it at late night, in the early 2010's, probably on Cartoon Network. I didn't put too much attention to it, but I'm pretty sure it really was some kind of show-within-a-show.
It was dubbed, so it's probably a good idea to ask about it in the spanish-speaking branch of the Lost Media community.
EDIT: One comment here said it was probably Kitty History by Trevor Moore on Comedy Central, but I don't think that's it. The estimated airing dates don't match, and I'm 100% sure it wasn't a music video, like Kitty History.
I don't know if it helps, but now I vaguely remember that the anchor cats thing was followed and/or preceded by unrelated shorts, so the whole thing could probably be part of some weird block.
EDIT 2: I asked some friends about it, and they remember having watched it, too. They couldn't recall any details other than the fact that it definitely aired on Cartoon Network.
EDIT 3: It was found. It's from an animated anthology series called Sunday Pants.

Again one id like to bring up a topic I’ve mentioned before that never got much traction: Back in 2012, a Japanese idol group called Juice=Juice made their indie debut with 6 members (Karin Miyamoto, Sayuki Takagi, Tomoko Kanazawa, Yuka Miyazaki, Akari Uemura, and Aina Otsuka). They announced their major debut single on July 13th, 2013 according to hello project wiki and their official website, a triple A-side with one track entitled “Romance no Tochuu”
However shortly before the debut music video was officially released via Hello Project Station (a web show that covered news about the idols and upcoming releases at the time), one of the members- Aina Otsuka- withdrew from the group. This allegedly lead to her getting edited out of the music video last minute. The version on the official UA-cam channel for Juice=Juice doesn’t show Aina at all, but the version from Hello Project Station can still be found has glimpses of Aina in the background. This leads me to believe that a full version of the MV and maybe even a version of the song itself that includes Aina exists somewhere, although this is mostly speculation based on the aforementioned evidence.
There are also unused promotional images of the group that were planned to be used before Aina’s departure which may serve as evidence to support this belief.
I’ve tried getting in touch with Hello Project’s official international twitter and sent emails to the agency they’re under but never got a response. But if anyone would like to help me even confirm the existence of a 6-member version of “Romance no Tochuu”, that’d be greatly appreciated! ^^

A parody of pundit debate shows (like "Crossfire") popular at the time, it consisted of one-minute shorts aired during commercials on adult swim. One thing I remember about Ed Edd Y Eduardo is that it was a short series of bumpers, definitely not just one. Eduardo was not superimposed over Eddy, that was only during the short intro jingle. What would happen is they would focus on a shot from EEnE, then have Eduardo respond in his own custom shot, in his own style, but on an EEnE background. I vaguely remember in one of them, Eduardo was made uncomfortable and then sent running by the Kanker Sisters. Even more vaguely, another one had a dialog with Kevin and the Ed-boys. I think there was at least one more, but I remember nothing of it.
I have no recollection of a language barrier, though, but my memories are super fuzzy except for the intro.

This was a really great video! For the first part [lost animated commercials], I actually have a white whale of lost animated commercials: the 1970s animated Jack In The Box commercials. Before we had the Jack's Back campaign, Jack made his debut as a complete mascot [as opposed to a print ad only/drive thru/walkaround/cameo in live action ads character] in these ads. He was portrayed as a teenage clown [possibly because of the success of Scooby Doo and Archie?], with green hair, a white shirt, and blue jeans. He also had a bunch of friends: Small Fry [a ginger-haired boy], Secret Sauce Agent [a secret agent who guards JITB's Secret Sauce], Hamburgermeister, Onion Ring Thing, The Shakes [fluffy milkshake colored creatures who were in a rock band], and Jack's Uncle Trilby. The characters were pretty popular in the 1970s, but were dropped in the 80s. There's only three commercials [Baseball, In The Park, Jack In The Box Animated Commercial 1970s], and three comic/records [How A House Makes Noise, Where Oil Comes From, How Pain Helps Us] on UA-cam. More Lost Commercial White Whales of mine: Dairy Queen's DQ Kid ads [starring a cowboy character named, you guessed it, DQ Kid], Frito's Frito Kid ads [only one is on UA-cam], etc. But the Jack In The Box 70s ads are my biggest lost media white whales, right next to the puppet segments from Pinwheel [I'm looking for Aurelia, Plus and Minus, and Luigi O'Brien segments that haven't been uploaded to YT yet in partricular]. While I am a 2000s kid, doing research has gotten me interested in vintage lost media.

Seeing everybody else mention their lost media inspired me to do the same:
Back in the early/mid 2010s distroller (a mexican brand that makes toys, plushies, accesories, etcetera) had 2 caharcters targeted towards adults called "Güanabi y Cindi" (Wannabe y Sin Dignidad wordplays) that had products raning from plates to purses. I remember seeing them at the stores, in some merch I owned like a pencil case and, in all of the plastic bags they handed you when you purchased something, and specifically recall seeing an animation up on distroller's youtube channel at the time (2014~2016 roughly) that had the two characters looking depressed in the thumbnail (it was kinda the whole point of these characters, from what I remember they were a couple with problems and both of them looked forlorn all the time) and I distinctly remeber being scared of the warning at the begining of the video that said it was 18+ and to click away if you were a child.
I also remember there being a page about them on a distroller website I don't have the URL of, nor could I find anything through the Wayback machine.
If anyone who knows spanish or has some experience getting cases on the forum could help me I'd greatly appreciate it.

if anyone wants a REALLY Weird and...admittedly "dark" one, there is always the Mysterious MUZAK Tracks that played in the World Trade Centers Plaza from the 1990s till 2001
notably we have Identified the "big ones" but there are a few mystery ones we can't ID yet
the overwhelming Majority of MUZAKs catalog of tracks were all instrumental covers at the time of once popular songs, for example "How Deep is Your Love" and "She's always a Woman" both recorded on 9/11 in a rather haunting video
but there is also ones we have good recordings of but...nobody can figure out the names of, namely two which played in footage taken by a guy named Jack Tailercio (probably spelling that wrong but memory is failing me)
one of them is jokingly referred to as the "Ice-cream truck song" for its rather janky sound, to me it honestly sounds like some 1940s bar jazz but IDK any names so its beyond me
and another which is very hard to hear due to falling debris and sirens but you can hear it in the same video briefly
we KNOW they were all probably made by a rather mysterious "Harley music" which was under contract by the MUZAK corporation, but we have never tracked down WHO was behind the band or even information beyond what we got in some archives
if you want to dig further and throw your guesses, my friends "W4SP" and "PRE-911 WTC" here on You Tube have uploaded most of them in video format and also "recreations" based on what we can hear, I did my best early on to figure it out but I ran out of ideas quickly sadly
we have access to the ACTUAL recordings that survive that played on MUZAKs satellite station, but the problem is there is probably over a hundred tracks and going through all of them especially the unnamed ones, and recording the ones still playing on the station have been a pain and take time...

when talking about commercials, there's one I've been looking for for a while now. it was a tourism ad for the state of Georgia. it aired sometime in the early 2010s. I live in Canada, so I definitely remember that it was aired on an American network based out of the southern US (I want to say NBC Atlanta? I can't say for sure, I only saw it once). it had lots of aerial shots, and looked very cinematic, while a man narrated about the state's history, landmarks, and sights.
so far so standard, right? but here's the part I remember that really left me stunned:
about halfway through the ad, it cuts to some random clips of a band playing on a stage in a theatre. I recognized the band right away... it was Atlanta-based metal outfit, Sevendust. as a huge Sevendust fan, I was absolutely floored!! of all the famous bands & artists that have come from Georgia, why they decided to go with a somewhat obscure metal band is anyone's guess... but I'm so happy they did!
at least, that's my memory of the ad.
ever since then, any time I tried to look for it, I come up empty-handed. UA-cam has several tourist videos on Georgia, but nothing even remotely similar to the ad in question, and of course, no Sevendust. I'm even part of a Sevendust fan group on Facebook; I posted about the ad asking if anyone else had seen it, and one of the band's guitarists, John Connelly, reached out to me personally... to tell me he didn't recall being involved with any such video.
well... that just left me at a loss for words. I don't know if whoever put the video together just stole a bunch of Sevendust B-roll footage to pad out their commercial... or if I'm just remembering the whole ad wrong and the band was never in it.
I don't know how much of the lost media community is into travel & tourism promotional materials, but if anyone else has ever seen this ad, it would at least confirm that my memory isn't as terrible as I thought it was lol. I could always send a link to John Connelly, too, see what he has to say about it lol.
as far as the band shots go, I distinctly remember seeing lead singer Lajon Witherspoon (he's a big, muscular African-American man with mile-long dreadlocks, it's hard to mistake him for anyone else), and they were playing on stage in front of giant red & gold curtains (if you've seen their video for the song "Live Again", it's very reminiscent of that)

Don't know if this will help with the search, but I remember that Ed, Edd, n Eduardo segment perfectly in terms of visuals. The only thing that slips my mind is the dialogue. The segment began with the usual Ed, Edd, n Eddy intro, but it says Eduardo instead of Eddy and Eduardo is pasted over him. The episode used for the segment is Once Bitten Twice Ed, and it begins with that clip of Ed pushing a model rocket into his stomach as usual. However once Ed launches the rocket from his stomach it cuts to Eduardo knocking on the door to Ed's house (it looks more like he's just pasted onto a default background from the show). I think its a misconception that Eduardo is placed over Eddy in the episode because despite replacing Eddy in the intro, he never actually comes face to face with Ed or Double D. Nobody even responds to him, Eduardo's just talking to himself outside Ed's house. Then the rocket Ed launched goes through a window and starts flying around, which terrifies Eduardo causing him to freak out. The segment ends there. While I probably misremembered a detail or two (I was probably still in elementary when this aired) I think this is a good basic summary of how the short looked. I hope it gets found, I didn't even know it was lost until this video.

Might be a stretch, but might have been shown in the uk on one of those. An idea on the Shrek adverts, these look like they could be cardboard standees - also, if these were for computer shops, if a commercial did exist, it is likely they would have played it on the tvs for sale in the shops (just a theory). The timeframe I’m thinking is either after the first or second movie, as Shrek was a hot commodity in that period and just about every retail property seemingly wanted to have some type of promotional tie-in. What I "remember" about the commercial itself is Shrek taking a relaxing jaunt throughout the forest, snapping artsy pictures of things such as butterflies as he goes. Also I think Donkey accompanies Shrek in the commercial. Sorry if this description doesn’t help whatsoever, but the screen-cap seems so familiar other than just being a meme.

I looked up Uncle Gus after it was mentioned here- I definitely remember that monkey short, no doubt in my mind, so I guess this is the video where I finally acknowledge I recognize something.
On the topic of What a Cartoon! and the old Big Pick Weekend, there's one short that's eluded me as far as my searches go- It involved a princess who was a detective of some kind. She looked kinda like the old princess classic idea- pink dress, cone hat, all that. The only thing I remember from the short is she was subjected to a particularly nasty bit of slapstick, she screamed she had to go to a hospital, and she ended up in a hospital for dolls (so maybe the whole show was toy themed?)
I don't even know how to begin a search like that, so I'm putting it out there here.

Yes, I remember that! It's been living rent free in the back of my mind for days now (luckily I can actually draw this scene from vague memory). She was a princess detective where the only thing I remember was her laying on a pool chair in the backyard with her end of episode monologue of "the proof was in the pudding" while eating a spoonful of it.. and then the entire pool turned into pudding.

Not that I’ve been searching crazy hard, but it is cool to get affirmation someone else might know what I’m talking about. I feel like I can maybe vaguely recall that gag you’re referencing too.
There was another one about a crazy dangerous mini golf course that’s popped in and out of my head for a while I just now finally confirmed was, “Thrillseekers in Putt n’ Perish.” It’s cool that one did come up, but the princess PI short continue to avoid me.

I remember Uncle Gus being really boring but that's about it. I remember that I didn't like it because it didn't have much going on. Luckily, the show lost the pick and a better show got the spot. I think there were 5 episodes. One about a dog, one about Gus, one about Susy(?), there was a road trip one I think, and the last one had country music.

I have asked this channel already and some of you helped me look but nobody was able to find it. If anybody remembers it let me know because I feel so sure that it was real. Here’s some lost media that became lost just hours ago. I’m the reason it’s lost.
It’s a credit karma ad where we see 2 people (the ispot description reveals that they are actually a buddy cop duo) tied together. The one in the front pulls out his phone and checks his credit score while telling the one in the back about Credit Karma. Then as the commercial ends it pans to the TNT as it prepares to explode.
I have a screenshot of the first few seconds of the ad. It got pulled because I simp for the cop in the front

I've been looking far and wide for that lost Funimation One Piece dub. I know for a fact that I would set my VCR to record episodes around that time, I have a tape with some episodes somewhere.
On the topic of One Piece dubs, the Singaporean Odex English dub is pretty much lost as well. It was archived at one point, but it all seems to be lost again aside from the first few episodes. That being said, I recently picked up the first 7 of the 8 VCD releases that I imported from Malaysia. Been working on getting them ripped. The Odex dub is wild man, even more ludicrous than the 4kids dub

I think I know what the cat news thing is. Sometime around 2004 Nickelodeon had a marathon about animal themed episodes which was hosted by two cat newscasters. Pretty sure the bumpers from it are online too. (On the subject of the CN shorts from 2010 I do remember seeing a few of them like Laantz and Derek and The Swashbuckling Adventures of the Men and Jeremy. I do have a lost media inquiry involving a series of shorts I saw on CN called R.I.P. that was apparently made for Turner Classic Movies? It was claymation and seemed kinda morbid, not exactly kid channel material.)

RE: Ed, Edd, y Eduardo. I saw this when it was airing. I specifically remember there being more than one kind of short that played during commercial breaks. By "series", I believe the idea is that it was a series of bumpers, not a spin-off. Unfortunately my family stopped recording TV to VHS tapes by the time Foster's had started airing. I just remember that there was more than one variant.

I remember the Big Pick! I don't remember the Spanish name but it also aired on Cartoon Network Latin America on Fridays around the evening simultaneously as in the US, if I'm not mistaken. The voiced actors actually dubbed all these potentially one-shot pilots and it was cool to see all these shows. VHS recordings of TV were popular in Latin America in the 00s and that's probably why they have mainly resurfaced in Spanish 😄good job LSSQ!

I'm from Mexico, and i'm sad to say, that i HAD a VHS with that pilot from Uncle Gus,here in Mexico,it aired in this 30 minute short/pilot compilation called "Cartoon Cartoon's" if i remember correctly, and it was just a 30 "show" with 3 of those old cartoon network pilots, and back then my mother used to record random cartoons for me,and she had recorded me quite a couple of those pilot shows,i also remember that other pilots included an early power-puff girls episode, this other bizarre one where a clown looked for his mother in this cool world like world with a flea that played the trumpet inside the clown's mouth
and yeah uncle Gus was definitely one in that VHS,the episode started with Gus getting payed, and he spends it on a giant TV,he then watches a show where his ex wife appears, and she is wearing her wedding ring, thinking that she may still love him,Gus goes to the Zoo where the wife work, some stuff happens with some Gorillas, and when he finally ask her about the ring, turns out that the only reason she was still wearing it was cause the ring was stuck in her finger
apologies for the long comment,im just a bit shocked that i actually had this random cartoon that is now considered loss

idk if anyone can find a piece of lost media for me but I remember around 2002-2003? When the haunted mansion was coming out and Disney had little diys for Halloween that we're to celebrate the haunted mansion coming out in theaters and it would air in-between/maybe during shows? I remember one was where these kids cut a hole in a table cloth and in put it on the table (like madame leota) put their head thru to scare people... I think there were 3 total but I'm not sure and I don't remember the rest... This aired on the Disney channel

this reminds me again of a bumper(???) that i only saw air ONCE around the time Ben 10 was first airing its first season.
it was joke version of the ending of an episode where Grandpa Max scolds Ben for disobeying him and getting in to a bad situation.
it may have been Kevin 11's debut episode. regardless, it started out with the normal line form the show with Ben saying "Im sorry grandpa" and then it goes off script with Grandpa Max berating Ben for all mischief he's caused, a lot of stuff that never happened in the show, but the mention of it was very humorous. and it was still with Grandpa Max's VA Paul Eiding.
the problem with this kind of thing is that im sure its one of those weird "it literally only aired once and only in certain states" type of thing, cuz i could never find proof that it existed and i would have NO idea how to go about searching for it.
one of those "we'll be lucky if somebody randomly was recording with a vhs at the time"

I've brought this up multiple times, but I distinctly remember seeing a Adult Swim bump (Somewhere between 2010 - 2011) that consisted of 3 blue cgi'd men with creepy piano music in the background, a piece of text at the bottom with a certain air time, as well as the camera zooming into the middle figure's face. The text also had the words which I think were "Blue Man". So yea, my only guess is that it was a commercial for a special involving the Blue Men Group, except I don't even know if the Blue Men Group were ever on Adult Swim or not.
