It's such a tough area in the bag to get right for every situation, I have a 5 wood and 3 utility iron which go close to the same difference but I can use the 3 as a 4 but also keep it low into the wind and use the 5wood down wind depending on yardages
I play a 790 2 iron with a Cleveland 7 Wood and it’s my favorite combo. 7 wood is like my rescue club for bad lies or out of the rough. Nice crisp fairway and I love the 790 2 iron. Very interested to see these new clubs
I currently have the SIM DHY 3 iron in the bag and love it. It’s quite offset and my bad shot can go left but a lot straighter than hybrids or fairway woods. I’m tempted to go for the new UDI
Trottie very interested udi 3 iron, have had a gapr lo 2 iron that floats in and out of the bag, but these look way more forgiving and accessible. Only concern is the gapping only run 4 iron down in the p790 will the 3 udi gain me enough distance ?
I got custom fit for the new cobra forged utilitys , got an 18 degree 3 , 21 degree 4 and a 24 degree 5 … I’ve taken my old Titleist tmb 2 iron m and my 4 and 5 iron out my set of cobra forged tec copper 2020s … I just wasn’t consistent enough with my 4 and 5 in my set always came out too low … but that new P-DHY could be an option to possible replace my new 3 and maybe even the 4 , or perhaps go UDI in the 4 loft
I'm wondering why companies aren't making 5 irons in these heads, specially the dhy. I'm mid handicap and use a 4 hybrid, however I don't want a 5 hybrid but I find 5 iron is a bit tricky to hit sometimes but only Cobra makes their UT in the 5 iron replacement.
I went straight to the loft n lie after this and whacked 3* off that puppy, thing was so up for me. Yea total confidence in the bend but I got some hands on me so you may wanna proceed with caution but 3 - 4 is fine
@@tigertim9232 I tend to go to 57.5* and then I move back to 58* as I can't hit the bloody thing with a draw 🤣.... I think if someone is short and can play 57* lie then they swing it really good. Sadly I early extend a little so the degree up (58) is helpful
@@trottiegolf build something up 2/3/4 degrees flatter than what you normally play and keep it as a training aid so to speak. I really don't know why. But the closer the accent is to Scotland, the more legit it sounds. That's why I love listening to Ian Fraser at club champion.

Still playing my SIM DHY 3 and love it. Straight flights and as a lower ball flight player I get great roll out
Really like the style and look of the new UDI.DHY, would be interested in checking it out and comparing it to my current 2 utility.

So glad I got the UDI. Second guessed myself. UDI is super easy to hit and goes a mile
lets go trottie, love it!
Great overview. How does the P-DHY compare to the Stealth DHY?
I’d love to get a dhy but sheesh I think my wife will merk me if I spend another $250 on a golf club😂
Saving up for the new Brnr mini driver left handed!
Love the height out of the DHY, could find one in my bag soon
Well done Chris 👏 😊

Why not compare it to a 7 wood?
Love anything Trottie
cheers Johno
excellent as always, want the udi thanks
if i play stiff shaft on my p-770s would be using x-stiff on the pudi iron alright or nah
Any plans on a copper DHY/UDI? Really would be cool to match the copper p790s.
Sounds like Trottie needs a 7 wood

If you think you need a 5 hybrid you might want to look into some p790s
If I was fitted for p790’s can I just use the same shafts that I was fit for?
Yes, I did that for mine. I hated the recoil shafts
Question is how many degress did trottie bend the PDHY flat? And did he feel safe bending this type of head construction that much.
