Hi , im using Retin a 0.25 . I picked it up because I had ice pick scars which are pretty much healed now . Currently I’m on my 14th week and using it as per your guidelines . after the 12th week I immediately saw multiple condones on my left cheek and then after few days on my right cheek . My cheek area got very much clear , it only had few post hyperpigmentation . I wouldn’t say I purged badly during my initial days of Retin a . As of now I’m just using pea size amount twice a week .

Will it be a good idea to start with a retinol serum at mid 20s that has vitamin c and aha- bha complex as well in the ingredients list??? .I am talking about the dermaco retinol serum..it claims to be stable because of their combination. If not I will go with the dot and key one..
Hi Indrani, I have not tried this retinol serum. I am NOT sure of combining aha -bha with retinol. I guess the aha bha would enhance the retinol penetration with the aha-bha cleansing out the pores. hmm I would think that its better to use these two ingredients separately. But do pl note that sometimes combining ingredients in practical use is very different from theoretical mix.
Short answer: use the aha bha separately from the retinol 🍀

awe! the olay regenerist moisturiser is great and vitc. if she has uneven skin tone then add vit c, which will also help with UV damage reversal. Try and get her to use sunscreen :)
