Snap on 3000 lumen Under-hood slim light review

In this video I give my follow up review on the Snap on tools ECUHE300 Under hood light. I’ve owned lots of different lights in my 15+year career in this field. This has been by far my favorite but not without its issues.

I've had that light as well for maybe around 2 months, love the brightness and love that it doesn't create shadows, great if your working around the whole engine bay. My only gripe is the thin cord, wish that light came with a thick cord like the overhead flood light. I own both and both have they're place but all in all great light

Yea that’s a great idea. I’d even like a longer option as well. It’s annoying you have to use their usb type c. It makes zero sense

I really have been happy with the light and using it. Just not the warranty issues. So far since I got the new one it’s been flawless so maybe I got a dud

I bought the snap on with the 2 magnetic lights and under hood bar but also bought the icon ,harbor freight copy of the snap on and I got the bar and 2 lights and it's like 140 bucks. I got it for the work truck but I use it more then the snapon one even though they look and do the same I think I paid around 300 for the snap on. The icon only cones with 1 light so it's 50 bucks for a second light.the only diff is u can plug the snapon one in and it will charge both lights while ur using it. The icon u have to plug in a USB c to each light to charge them which is a feature I like cause if ur lights are dying u can just plug it in and still use them like a corded under hood light. Was gonna get one like urs but I like being able to just take one light off and use it as a normal magnetic base light when I need it but now u have me wanting this one too. Guess im getting a new toy tues. Lmao ,Cool video man glad I found ur channel.

Yea I have the icon one as well. I think I may have shown it in this video not sure. But yea it’s a decent light. I’ve found the lights don’t last as long as they say on high and die out on me

@@Enrightauto yea,they definitely don't but I like it cause the bases so I can attach anything. That's y I like the snap on version cause u can plug 1 wire in and it will run both lights if they're low on charge or dead. That's the plus of the snap on.

I comment a lot about being a Snappy fan (and own the Snappy flood light style) but, the MAC (Dewalt) underhood light is great!
