But these are the best instructions I've found so far. I am just not made to do this stuff.

Excellent tutorial, just make sure to buy 4 screwdrivers listed on the text of this video. Went through 2 just opening the phone up. Had to wait a few days to get 2 more to finish the job. Good luck!
Kristien Stuteville most of the screws are just used to secure the connectors if the phone gets dropped or bumped so it should all be fine. Plus, you now know how to fix them if they come loose.

It looks great - I fixed my screen with your help but the bottom corners of the phone are not working. Do you think this is because the screen I ordered is bad or I did something wrong?
You might of put fingerprints on the connectors and that would stop the digitiser from scanning your touch (I did this on a iPad it took me for awhile till I realised :p) or if you are sure you didn’t do that, it would most likely be the screen depending on how much you spent on it and got it from, I recommend you get a good quality oem replacement.

Try disconnecting the top ribbon cable assembly and checking the ribbon cables and plugs for any signs of damage. This sounds like a power management issue though and may have something to do with the battery.

How do you know that the button on the phone is working? Can you feel the phone vibrating or making a sound when charging? If you're sure that the phone is on but not displaying anything then you've probably got a faulty ribbon cable connection or the replacement screen is faulty.
Michael Klements it’s the iPhone 7 and usually when it’s turned off you can’t press the bottom down but you can. I have checked all the ribbon cables and they don’t seem to be the problem
