Thanks for posting this video. That flood literally closed off Hope for five days in all directions. Food and prescriptions supplies were fast diminishing. No milk, bread, veggies, and fruit were available. It was crazy. It was cut-off from the rest of Canada. The debris shown in those clips were crazy. And erosion in some spots. Thanks again. The Othello Tunnels are scheduled to re-open this July 2024 will only two tunnels accessible. It wasn't a priority to fix since their were so many highways that needed attention. Especially the Coquihalla was damaged in 20 different places.
Summer 2022 there was supposed to be some work done but the entrance off Othello Rd will take a lot of work to restore. No word yet on a possible reopening date.

They are currently fixing the damage so hopefully on your next trip you can visit Othello Tunnels again.

they’ve now made a 2 year restoration timeline for it! Hoping to have the first few tunnels open in July 2024!!
