@@mohawkwardtv It's not strictly how I do your blocks, it's more about a bottleneck searching, or more specifically of how much goods your block is consuming/how much time trader takes to deliver goods, so for little blocks and not to much distance it's okay to combine several trading goods in one market, but as the block grow it will start "flickering" and evolve-devolve.

hah i use 8x16 or 9x17 blocks when i want the fountains to be nicely centered. In this case, exactly 20 2x2 houses are obtained. I played Caesar 3 in 1998 (omg). A month and a half ago I decided to play Caesar again. Surprisingly, this old piece of shit gave me pleasure. I used random mod augustus version 1.31. Yes, I know there are newer versions, but I don't care. First I went through all the military missions. The peaceful turned out to be much more difficult. Can you explain me what's the Control+C Control+V concept ? Can you actually copy your city and paste it with 2 mouse clicks? Another question, why when you start building the city, you put some temples far away, won't they have less effect on the population? thank you.
This is a pretty good general setup. Note that forcing 2x2 housing as much as possible is important for goods consumption. Another tip is that maximising a single trade route is really hard so focusing on a few different trade routes often leads to faster money.

I have no issues getting food to everyone, but once you throw pottery, furniture and wine into the mix, household will start have interrupted access to resources and keep evolving/devolving back and forth.
2 markets work fine most of the time, it also depends on how far market ladies need to travel for goods. The trick is to have separate dedicated markets for food and for other goods(pottery, furniture, oil etc ).
You can bump up 1 market for 3 goods. I like to keep it like 1 market - 2 goods. Most important thing is to have the resources stored near the market (granaries and warehouses).
Hooo this is a small abuse of language. You can copy paste but you have to rebuild the copy by hand, building by building and road by road ^^. There is no blueprint mechanism in Caesar 3.
