This channel is a pure gold mine for us artist! cant believe it's free. Thank you always for these
same, i am so grateful for them:)
For sure, i really love this guy. A AMAZING teatcher.
i always think omitting the s is always better than including one.
1:19:35 the way you did the whole texture for clothing is genuinely so inspiring to me, makes me less afraid to try doing this myself
I bought the paintbrush set for the oblong brush but it doesn't seem to exist in the current brush set. Do I need to change some settings or something? It's a bit disappointing.
yep, same here
Jesus christ that godly texture work. Any company should be honored to be able to employ you
The way he paints...so precious...
The fabric section of the painting was such a treat to watch!
Thanks for posting these! Super helpful to see your process.
This is just unreal. Wow! 🔥
Thank you as always for sharing your process!
Thank you for this video for reminding me that to enjoy the process and not to rush to finish it. Sometimes i forgot why i enjoy drawing before.
Bruh what, this dude drew something like this for 2 hours and you calling this a "not rushing"??? Huh???¿¿¿ I probably would need 50-100 hours to draw something like this
That approach to the fabric was mind-blowing!
Omg this is life changing!! I love how you combine sketching and painting. It's a great solution to never starting a new piece due to anxiety for lineart/sketching
This is madness ! That's incredible 😍😍💜
I like that it has no music. Just straight up art. Good stuff!
I also like seeing the use of one layer mostly. I try to do the same since its more manageable and less confusing lol
It's so freaky how effortless this seems, yet the knowledge in every brushstroke is breathtaking for me.
FINALLY! Finally someone who spares me some unwanted music and who shows his layer bar. Thank you so much! I follow you since months now
Blessed to be able to learn from you...Thank you soooooo much Christophe Y.
Saludos desde Seville Spain.
The way you worked on the fabric just blew me away! Thank you for sharing so much of your knowledge with us ❤

you're so badass for merging everything and working in practically 1 layer, wish I had THAT confidence....
He is so pro man. He also have one of the picture which reach top of like on artstation too so yeah, he have lot of confidence to do this on one layer

Mr. Y, it terrifies me how good that sweater looks. The messy bun and sweater really portray that comfy look. I know that was your point anyways :)
Watching this makes me want to start drawing again...

Can you make a video on your glazing process from greyscale to colour?
Great
😍
Do you mostly just use a hard round with a low flow %?
is anyone able to educate me about that process of using a gradient map at the beginning? I understand the basics of why you would use a gradient map but why do you think he used it for this portrait? why not just select the area and color fill? maybe I'm missing something here. Ive watched the video a few times and still can't figure out what it's really doing.
hey christophe.. can you make video about medieval battle scene painting in real time next??
What is your document size? 8.5 x 11 in at 300 dpi or 600 dpi?
How do you change your brush size so quickly? Do you have a dial?
Alt + Right click + Drag
@@rainsong77 Oh man--- this is a lifesaver and I didn't know it was an option that existed.
He said in another video that he uses increase/decrease brush size shorcuts ( keybinded to square brackets by default if I'm not mistaken) you can change them in Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts > Increase and Decrease brush size
Thank you, master!
1:04:24 how do you paint above the lip without getting any unwanted stroke on the lips when using soft brush?
I believe it's something to do with the thousands of hours of practice under his belt:D It's pen control:)
Goals
you can do that too in chainmail? those little details
What tablet and pen are you using
What program is he using please?
Photoshop
What is the brush name?
I just wanted to say, thank you…
Anyone knows if the brushes he sells are compatible with procreate?
why need to flip? im curious
Hello, I would like to know what is the size of your "paper" o canvas because the brushes are super big!
whats the shortcut to put it belove at 1:21:50
Amazing video but Try to make short video too so we can learn more and selective part ,it will help you too, thank you
1:19:51
i want hair brush
is there a way for me to get your brushes without using creditcard?
how
Years of hard work and training. There is no shortcut or magic tricks. The tools are only helpful because he has that foundation.
My guess is that you're making a stylized version of a photo?
waffle cone
No sound?
Can I somewhere find your brushes? Thanks for high quality content❤
