How do you resist throwing the piece out?? I know they say trust the process, but gouache is like the one thing that really makes you doubt. You're so skilled that this!
I personally have a rule that I have to at least either finish the sketch, finish the base (w/ watercolor), or do a major feature (any other medium) before throwing it out. Because if I don't like those things ESPECIALLY the sketch then I won't like the finished piece
It always looks silly at first the only way you’ll know if you did it right is to go through with it don’t think that you’re making a mistake in the first part because it’s not about details it’s about setting a tone you’ll worry about deets once you’re at that moment where you’ve finished doing scene
Well if your going to throw it out anyway, why not finish it? What I mean is if you have decided you already hate a piece, what's the harm in sticking it out and seeing the end results. Some of the greatest works out on display in art galleries aren't there cause the artist loved them, it's cause the artists stuck it out and finished the painting they hated the most, Leonardo hated his Mona Lisa and Rossetti tried several attempts before his painting was seen as finished, Van Gogh barely thought he was talented (admittedly born in the wrong place at the wrong time) but I hope this gives you hope. Your not just creating art for you to like, you are creating it so someone likes it. I think this is the biggest mistake, especially perfectionists make, art is not about you, and yes it really isn't. You just enable it. But I mean well I want to help so hope this does. 😊❤
I love how the white in the eyes looked weird till they were colored making them soft and just perfect. Amazing what these colors can do. Well done. Looks awesome. 👏
omg is this radiohead??? Im not a big fan but I thought I knew the intro but didnt recognize the voice. Replayed this over and over again trying to figure it out
Wowww you're sooo good at fating colors, use them in the right way, make correct colors and everything i really love that❤❤❤❤ and also i have a question. Is it with oil painting or what?
honestly in theory from painting dark to white in the shading when you speak it in theory, it sound easy but in reality when you try to do it, it very hard
It’s hard to tell because there’s always so many variables in painting a portrait but the price starts from $95 and increases depending on the medium and size of the painting.
@cringeismyfavouriteword for gouache and watercolour it’s $90 for an A6 painting and $130 for A5 and $150 for A4. +$15 for each extra person in the painting! and for a bigger painting such as A3 the cost is around $300. I hope this helps
Wen started with purple n shading went on ... caught my heart..very impressive
There is no purple?

I struggle with this a lot, when something isnt going well with my drawing I have to get a seperate paper to scribble out my frustration
