Our 80’s LC is undoubtedly our favourite toy and happy place, it has given us so many memories and fun times. They are designed to be used to the maximum of their capabilities 😝 if you get chance check out how we modified ours. X
Hey, love the build - can you share some more info on the amplifier system that can switch between OEM and bluetooth? Sounds like exactly what I've been looking for
@@OverlandEngineer ive seen others cut up the truck for 37s when keeping stock control arms etc. With your setup, the 37s look like they were meant to be!
We’ve had these in Aus since the beginning, always hated them. Only recently that they’re becoming more common in the US am I actually becoming to like them. The US style is always so much cleaner
2" spacers? oof. So much moment arm and wear on your suspension components, especially in the front. Love low pro bumpers without bullbars but the amount of deer and elk in my area says to get/build a full triple hoop unfortunately. Clean looking build, too many OL vehicles have so much shit on them they look like a circus.
Yeah I’m not in love with the spacers but the stance is pretty awesome and I have to get around the lip on the wheel..maybe I’ll come up with something better eventually
@@OverlandEngineer The stance is very cool. Longer axle swap or maybe Dana 60s? Trim inside fenders? 36" tire swap with an offset wheel? Dunno if that would buy you enough but it might. Also from experience with a 10" subwoofer: The box is supposed to be about a cubic foot internal, I used to have a 96 Chevy Suburban with a 10" sub in it and it was more than capable of giving me a headache in about 5 minutes. I at least would probably run an 8", they're more than capable of getting great sound without taking up so much dang room. Then again if you run a low profile 10 in a taller thinner box it might be fine. Good stuff, keep posting.
ok in stead of saying you have another cool rig... I have two serious questions for you mister never enough.., Why two 4x4 cars? and why all of the 'best' to buy gear ? ever considered to make parts yourself and being satisfy with one car? Or should I see this ego ducument as one big commercial? It is so not inspiering to look at
80 series is one of the best looking LCs when modified in my humble opinion.
nice build.
What an awesome 4x4 collection you have. Bad ass T4R and a bad ass Landcruiser!
Thanks! Trying to build them out right!
Pretty sweet Rig. Thanks
Love it, I wanna see how they flex tho 🤔
Man i want a 80s this thing is nice.
Looks killer my friend
Thanks!
We own a 2011 Landcruiser and when we cross railroad trucks not a rattle in it. We will never sell it.
Great choice on the front end, keeping it sleek without those bumper hoops.
2” spacers! No rock crawling for you.
Thanks! Eh, idk…run them til they fail! 🤷🏻♂️
whould you recomend the 37" tires or would you go with 35
Nice Truck!!!!
Very nice build
thanks for that video, much helpfull
Such a beautiful build.
Love this land cruiser

Nice build man!
The reason for the adjustable upper and lower rear control arms is to adjust the pinion angle during a lift kit install.
Looks great! Hoping to do some of these mods on my 1hdft crusier
😮💨😮💨😮💨 sick
What a stance
Mine is bone stock but still goes everywhere.
Love it. I have a 95 HDJ81with a Dissent front bumper. Do you know the overall weight of the rear bumper?
Not sure but I'd say probably 200+

Love the rig! Do you rub at all with the 37s?
Not really, I haven’t even tried to do any clearancing near the firewall yet. Rubs a tiny bit every so often…

@@GaragetopicsThat was the goal!
Sweet, will I need spacers for -10 rrw wheels?
Impressive work! Did you do it all by yourself?
Yep! Everything but the regear...
What did you have to do to fit the 91-94 grill? I have a 97 and I wanna do the same to mine

Fucking badass rig, dude.
Have you got standard diffs and drive shaft with standard gearbox?
Yep! I need a new front driveshaft though
Do you actually off road this thing or do you just bolt stuff onto it and make videos about?
Where can I buy this!
Haha not sure, but many of the links work and there are clean 80s around!
Sigh I should've never sold mine......

Are you rich I want this so bad but it gets so expensive
All that cruiser and no sliders or diff armor. Probably no skids too. Shame.
I’m getting there…relax…my 4Runner has all that
