As for what you missed, Olivert asked Rean and Kurt to help keep an eye on Cedric for him, as he's begun to admire Osborne a lot lately. Then Juna commenting on how she respects Olivier and Alfin more because they care about their sibling a lot. Still, there's a log you should be able to access to review past dialogue, even replay voice acted lines. Also to clarify, Cedric didn't just miss the Summer festival, he also missed his opportunity to study alongside Rean, which he was really looking forward to.
Yay, new episode for the year 35:33 I was confused about this too but I realized that "you can do what you want" thing is meant only for the Enforcers. Anguis are a little more restricted
Good to see you back. Definitely looking forward to the next episode. Incidentally, Machias's S-Craft follows the same naming scheme as both of Dudley's; the creators clearly knew what they were doing. Also, the scene with Xin could also be viewed after Olivier joins, meaning he could also comment on the Heiyue heir's stares.
Juna was clealy the hightlight of this episode but I want to focus a bit on Rufus' backstory. Osborne had essentially won the civil war with the noble faction the minute he turned Rufus, and he did so TEN years before the war started.
Black Workshop was one of Ouroboros' Thirteen Factories before they defected to Osborne, same as the Doll Studio is Factory number 12. Hence why they say Thirteen....
35:32 (second comment cause this is literally hours later)... the "you can do whatever the hell you want" rule in Ourobouros only applies to Enforcers though. Not Anguises. I think that has been stated somewhere at some point, maybe even as early as the Sky trilogy. Apparently the Anguises know too much or something. They definitely know more about the "big plan" than the Enforcers (sans Campanella maybe) & I am pretty sure the Enforcers don't know who the Grandmaster is, or Joshua and Renne would have told the relevant people at this point (again, sans Campanella).
Happy new year, Weapons. It's always a nice time watching a new episode of your Trails series! Crazy to think I've been keeping up with them since the Zero days 😀
Black workshop is part of the 13 factory, same as rozenberg. So the black workshop is working under the sixth anguish The freedom on ouroboros only works for enforcer, the anguish are more strict
Damn, I bumped into that fast forward button too many times in CS3 and 4. In Reverie I finally remapped it. There's a conversation log during cutscenes (on Xbox controller it's up on the d-pad) to read what you missed.
To answer your question, the Black Workshop is an entity that is separate from Rosenburg though they are both included in the Thirteen Factories, but that is all I'll say on the matter for now.
07:04 Friendly reminder that this game has a conversation log 😅 you can bring it up anytime. I don't know the button on pc, but maybe someone else can help with that
Funny thing about. Machist, he was so trash from when he was introduced, he. Was buffed in every game he is in, until he is absolutely busted in the epilogue game (hajimari) 😂. It is the opposite to Alisa, she was so busted in the first game, she was nerfed so much in everygame that she almost get side lined on the epilogue, and replaced by otherer better support character.😂
It may be a while before I reach this episode (😅). Since you accidentally skipped dialogue, I'll do that real quick.........even though I really shouldn't have to do that considering you have a text log in this game, so you could've caught up easily on what you missed. 😅 But basically, it's Alfin saying that Cedric began to look up to him recently, everyone reacting to Osborne being mentionned, and Olivert rectifying by saying that Cedric always admired the way the Chancellor do things, that he's grateful to him if he's the reason Cedric got better and ask Rean and Kurt to watch over him as he learns to control his forcefulness. That's it, see you in 8 monthd when I'll return.
54:00 to 59:00 Cold Steel 3 gotta have the crappiest bosses in the whole saga. Fortunately, the combat gets more refined and much better in Cold Steel 4.
I swear this game is the main reason why you would want to play Sky and Crossbell and the first half of the arc. Also my friend, have you seen the announcement for the Remake. But why am I asking? Of course you did. Sky will come out in 4 languages this time too. And I am shilling this game to everyone. At least to everyone I can think of. I have also finally finished Harvestella and can now play something else. I plan to play tales of Graces in 2 weeks, so I have started Rhapsody, a musical adventure. And I think I accidentally skipped the opening. Whoops. Rhapsody is an old PS1 RPG. You should play it. If only for the random NPC who tells you the story of how they named this river after a girl who drowned herself in it. This game is not kid friendly. And after I finish Graces, I will finally play Cold Steel 3. You are not making an actual lets play after all. So there is a lot of info I am missing. But all the casual name drops are really great. It really makes it feel like the game is connected on a deeper level and like the world is actually alive and lived in. I am excited to see the next part. I hope I can play this game soon. Rhapsody is really short, so there should be no problems with getting through it in 2 weeks. I am still in the prologue though. And there is a scene later that has a quest that was bugged in the DS version where the game would just freeze and not trigger the quest. Again, this game looks cute and funny, but it is really not for kids. Although I played it as a kid. Keep enjoying Cold Steel. And seriously consider taking a break after Cold Steel 4 or Reverie. I want to play the last 3 games up to Reverie this year. And next year I will start Calvard. Or I will just wait until Kai 2 releases. Because of reasons. I have made it my goal to actually play more games this year. I just need to make the time for it.
Well, Weapons has finally happened upon one of the plot points in the second half of Cold Steel that a lot of people absolutely despise. (i.e. Vita disagreeing with the majority of Anguis.) I'm not going to spoil WHY exactly the disagreement happened but I will say that if I was a member of Ouroboros I would have sided with Vita. It will be interesting to see which side of the "Trails now has terrible writing," argument Weapons takes as he unravels the rest of the Erebonia Arc, something I very much look forward to.
I apologize for the wait. I think this might be the longest gap there's been between episodes (excluding transition periods between games).
@@weaponsci Its alright man. Gotta enjoy the holidays after all👍
take your time we can wait

Bro got triggered by Osborme so hard he skipped forward in time😂
he forgot to put Susborne in his 2025 bingo card 😂
Wait, you have a dialogue talk log you can bring up and read the history of all conversations. You don't need to ask us about it.... 😅
I forgot ;_;
"You failed your Inspection!" is my favorite Line😂
The Enforcers can do what they want. Anguis are another story, and they aren't supposed to have that freedom.
The Liberl gang had a place to chill, it's called the Hermit's Garden
Oof, forgot about that.
For future reference if something like that happens again, you can always pull up the dialogue log and look at what was said in the previous lines
Yay, new episode for the year
35:33 I was confused about this too but I realized that "you can do what you want" thing is meant only for the Enforcers. Anguis are a little more restricted
Ah, that makes sense
Good to see you back. Definitely looking forward to the next episode.

Things always get good once orbobous shows up
Having Olivier in your Party again is just hype👌
Gotta love the Star Door 8 Reference as well👍
Juna was clealy the hightlight of this episode but I want to focus a bit on Rufus' backstory.
Osborne had essentially won the civil war with the noble faction the minute he turned Rufus, and he did so TEN years before the war started.
Diabolical. Bro is on a whole different level
Longest two weeks, how dare Christmas get in the way of these videos 😂
Black Workshop was one of Ouroboros' Thirteen Factories before they defected to Osborne, same as the Doll Studio is Factory number 12. Hence why they say Thirteen....
Junas Breakdown on the Roof slapps hard on the Feels😢 Hits hard on the Crossbell fans especially
@@Nova_Silver You should see it in the Japanese voice too. It is even more heart wrenching.

Press up on the D-pad during any conversation to see what you missed.
I completely forgot I could do this X_X
Oh boy Irina never changes. But aside from that, this is one of my favourite scenes in the game and another reason why I love Juna so much.
Happy new year, Weapons. It's always a nice time watching a new episode of your Trails series! Crazy to think I've been keeping up with them since the Zero days 😀
I've been at this for a long time lol
48:42 we don't get O.G. Dudley, but at least Machias is Dudley at Home version
Black workshop is part of the 13 factory, same as rozenberg.
So the black workshop is working under the sixth anguish

Finally I've been waiting for this. And Happy New Year
Thx, same to you!
I love Machias and his S-Craft so much. 😊
Same
"You failed your inspection!"
Salted-Smoked-Switcheroo Jalapenons🎉
The you can do whatever you want rule is only for the enforcers
This was favorite part especially I felt bad for Rean.
they were talking about osborne and what hes done and olivert asked rean and kurt to watch cedric
07:04 Friendly reminder that this game has a conversation log 😅 you can bring it up anytime. I don't know the button on pc, but maybe someone else can help with that
Balls. I was just about to go run some errands. They can wait an hour.
eeeheeeheeeheeee
Ahh, the first barriers of the new year😂
34:50 wait who let the dead man vote
Lmao imagine they phoned in Gehenna for Weissman's opinion
Don't worry, another Anguis had been revealed in the Calvard Arc, but should i tell you who he is yet? XD
I guess I'll find out for myself lol
Funny thing about. Machist, he was so trash from when he was introduced, he. Was buffed in every game he is in, until he is absolutely busted in the epilogue game (hajimari) 😂.

His only upgrade in this game is his Brave Order, but on the flipside he has another competition for his niche who is not Claire

29:30 Did you end up skipping extra AP from Campanella's fight? 🤔
Here's hoping we get to CSIV this year? 😅🎉
I would think maybe even into reverie
