from oz. found this randomly as im learning how to diy my 2022 w205, c43. found this very useful and your way of communicating is so "homely" and practical. hope that thumb is all good now!
Yeah, I agree I know this vehicle was involved in a accident and owner bought after it was repaired but definitely someone didn’t do there job. Prior to me working on it.
You are replacing the brake fluid. Brake fluid brakes down over time and it's boiling point lowers. Which can cause brake fade under hard braking when everything gets hot. Moisture also can build in syste. Causing a spongy pedal. In a week I am releasing a full brake service on that vehicle I am editing it today

Appreciate that brother. The thumb lol.
If you have do all thr general maintenance on that C43 you'll really keep that cost of ownership down.
what is the jar to the right of the coolant jar under the plastic cover? there is pink liquid also
Turbo liquid intercooler I believe it’s not air to air it’s air to liquid
That line in the way of the drain plug is not normal. As you said, someone had been in there before.

I'm not understanding the need to drain the brake fluid if the brakes were okay. I'm trying to service my brakes.
